5 Interior Designers To Follow On Instagram

Summer has flown by in the blink of an eye. With how much traveling I do from May to September, it’s so hard to stay inspired! Thank goodness for Instagram, am I right?

What I love most about Instagram is that it always helps with my creative juices. Even if I haven’t blogged in a week or two, I love browsing content (specifically interiors) that I can save, come back to and post later. The new save feature is really my favorite thing on Instagram right now!

Today I wanted to share 5 of my favorite interior designers that I follow on Instagram. Remember this post where I shared my top 10 favorite interior designers on Pinterest? Well I love doing these roundups in the hopes I can help inspire you, too. Some of these design stars you might already know but some are new-to-me and a little under the radar! Anyways, I love them all for different reasons so let’s get to it- shall we?

Marie Flanigan Interiors

I recently discovered Marie Flanigan’s instagram the other day and got lost in her beautiful feed. Marie’s constant use of bright wants, classic neutrals and timeless design elements makes her a must-follow on Instagram in my opinion!

Mark D. Sikes

Omg, Mark D. Sikes. My bestie who doesn’t even know he’s my bestie. I got invited to a One Kings Lane party this summer in the Hamptons where Mark was hosting and I was so so sad I couldn’t attend. I’m still waiting for the day I can meet him! His love for blue and white, stripes, manicured gardens, big white houses and classic glamour makes him a favorite. Every space he touches inspires me to be more bold with my design decisions. P.s. have you see the Coastal Living Show House he designed in Newport, Rhode Island?! I will share another blog post this week giving you a deeper tour but if you’re not following Mark already, please do. You will thank me later.

Studio McGee

Ok, ok, I know you know that I love Studio McGee. Shae is always inspiring me with her spaces! With the launch of her new store McGee & Co., now it’s easier than ever to add the Studio McGee touch to your home. Her blog is also bookmarked in my favorites. I promise following Studio McGee will not disappoint your Instagram feed.

Leanne Ford Interiors

Leanne is another new-to-me interior designer who is a must-follow on Instagram. Her use of natural woods, brown leather and bright white materials makes her Instagram one to watch.

Nancy Serafini Interiors

Ok, how cute is Nancy Serafini?! She messaged me on Instagram the other day saying how she discovered my blog post on her Nantucket home and was thrilled to be discovered by someone new! Her note was so sweet that I of course had to include her in my round up of 5 interior designers to follow on Instagram. Although she doesn’t have the largest following (yet), Nancy has been decorating for over 40 years and I’m sure has so much knowledge she can share with us all! Take a peek at her portfolio here.

Chango & Co Designs The Perfect Family Abode in Westchester, NY

I recently came across Brooklyn based design firm Chango & Co. Are you familiar with their work? You can follow them here! After discovering them on Instagram, I decided to take a peek at their portfolio when coming back from the Hampton’s yesterday. One of my girlfriends and her husband who we were with this past weekend hired them to design their Tribecca apartment. I seriously cannot wait to see the end result! Anywho, after getting lost for what seemed like forever browsing their website and Instagram I had to share this Westchester Family Abode.

What I love most about discovering new design firms is pulling inspiration that you can totally recreate in your own home. I’ve seen this Serena and Lily blue and white rug used in multiple living rooms, dinning rooms and bedrooms! You also can totally mimic the dinning chairs in this home with Serena and Lily’s striped bistro chairs or the pendants utilizing these Santa Barbara Pendants. So cute, am I right?! And can we please talk about the Feather Wallpaper? A classic wallpaper staple in beach homes on the East Coast.

There’s nothing better than finding interiors that are similar to your aesthetic and recreating the look. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite products below to help you achieve this Westchester’s family home below.

My Favorite End Tables From Horchow

If you have been following me for a while, you know I am a HUGE fan of Horchow. In case you missed it, take a peek at a few of my favorite items from Horchow and my 5 tips for choosing the perfect sofa.

As I mentioned in my 5 tips post, I ended up going with Horchow for my couch because they exactly had what I was looking for when it came to my sofa. I wanted a white, slip covered linen sofa that was 40″ deep. After much research, Horchow ended up having the perfect sofa for me and I have been obsessed with it ever since it was delivered to my apartment back in December!

It’s taken me much longer than anticipated to finish my living room because I’m still waiting on my Wisteria coffee table. Similar to my couch, I did a ton of research when it came to finding the perfect coffee table so I decided to stick it out and wait until it was back in stock vs. picking something out that I don’t absolutely love. I’m pretty much using this rule of thumb when it comes to all of my furniture. Next up are my end tables. There aren’t many end tables I love at first glance. However, Horchow has several that have caught my eye. Insert this Louie Round table and this gold end table. I’m a huge proponent of mixing the styles of end tables as well as the material. The Louie Round Table has that Hampton’s beach vibe that you guys know I love while the gold end table provides a polished finish.
