Hello, ladies and gents! Apologies for the radio silence around here. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know I was in Anguilla and St. Maarten from Thursday to Sunday last week. I’m finally back in New York and back to blogging! I’ll be sharing a little recap of our trip later this week but in the meantime, I came across this blue and white themed holiday home tour and of course had to share! Featured on Style At Home, this traditional home takes a little twist on color schemes. As you guys know, I’m a fan of blue and white interiors in general so it’s no surprise when it comes to the holidays that doesn’t change! I’m such a fan of the dinning room – particularly the graphic dinning chairs and the blue on the walls and china cabinet. Any who, you can take a peek at the entire home too right here! Xo. Lauren

2016 Gift Guide: For The Jet Setter
You know I love putting together these gift guides, right?! So since I’m headed out of town this weekend (more on our trip later!) I thought it would be perfect timing to round up a few gift ideas for the jet setter on your list.
I’m very particular when it comes to my travel necessities – I like to have everything I need readily available! Insert my passport (one must have a cute passport cover), eye mask for the plane (I have this Iluminage one but also thought this one is cute, too), a neck pillow for long journeys, and earrphones (I will literally buy a new pair of earrphones if I forget mine). Two of my besties have this Tumi carry on and it’s officially on my Christmas wish list!
I always like to include a face mist and eye mask when I travel in case I need to hydrate on the flight. I find this especially helpful when traveling to Europe – it always helps me feel refreshed after stepping off a long flight! Last but not least, I picked up these “To Wear” and “To Wash” travel bag set from Shopbop last week to help keep my dirty laundry separated from my clean stuff! Aren’t they so cute?
Shop my favorite travel gifts below! And pssstttt! Don’t forget about all the other great gift guides I’ve put together this year! You can view them all on my ‘holiday’ tab!

The Top Burberry Items To Pick Up This Week

Happy Cyber Monday, ladies and gents! Did you do any good shopping over Thanksgiving week? In case you missed it, you can see the Top 12 Black Friday Sales to shop right here – many of which are still going on for Cyber Monday! I picked up a few Christmas gifts over these past few days but still have plenty left to do. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are two great days to pick up investment pieces like a Burberry coat. I got my first Burberry puffer coat this time last year (pictured above) and I’ve already started wearing it again! I’m hoping to invest in another Burberry coat either a classic trench coat or a cape this time. I’ve had my eye on this plaid cape SJP has been rocking with her monogram. Isn’t it cute? So today I’ve rounded up the Top Burberry Items to pick up this week as Nordstrom is offering major discounts on a handful of these items!

Christmas Time At The Plaza Hotel
Christmas time in New York City is my all time favorite. There are so many great activities to do during the holidays and spending the day at the Plaza Hotel is at the top of the list. If you’ve never been to New York or visiting here soon, I highly recommend putting the Plaza Hotel on your bucket list. You literally could spend all day at the Plaza which is exactly what Krista, Lauren and I did the other weekend!
Tea at the Palm Tree Court
My number one recommendation when visiting The Plaza is tea at the Palm Court. This is a serious must honestly any time of year but especially during the holidays! You could also just grab a glass of champagne in the Palm Tree Court as well on a Friday or Saturday evening.
Visit The Plaza Shops
I visited The Plaza a few times before ever realizing there were numerous shops in the basement! Not only is there an Assouline book shop but you can also find a local flower shop, leather spa and a Krigler fragrance shop to help with your holiday shopping.
Brunch at the English Food Hall
Also located in the basement is the English Food Hall. We had lunch here the other day and the food was delicious. From oysters to sliders to brussels sprouts, the English Food Hall is a perfect spot uptown for brunch during the holiday weekends.
Messages at the Spa
One thing we did not get to the other weekend is the spa!! However, I would highly recommend making an appointment when spending the day at The Plaza as it would be the perfect activity. What better way to wind down from the hustle an bustle of the holidays than with a message?
Cocktails at the Hotel Bar
Separate from the Palm Tree Court there is also the hotel bar located at the left of The Plaza when you all through the grand entrance. I didn’t get to snap a photo but the backdrop of the bar is a huge shelving unit full of Veuve Clicquot Champagne bottles. Grabbing a drink at this hotel bar is definitely on my list over these next few December weekends!

Have you ever visited or stayed at The Plaza Hotel before? Would love to hear how you spent your day there! Xo. Lauren
