Summer has flown by in the blink of an eye. With how much traveling I do from May to September, it’s so hard to stay inspired! Thank goodness for Instagram, am I right?

What I love most about Instagram is that it always helps with my creative juices. Even if I haven’t blogged in a week or two, I love browsing content (specifically interiors) that I can save, come back to and post later. The new save feature is really my favorite thing on Instagram right now!

Today I wanted to share 5 of my favorite interior designers that I follow on Instagram. Remember this post where I shared my top 10 favorite interior designers on Pinterest? Well I love doing these roundups in the hopes I can help inspire you, too. Some of these design stars you might already know but some are new-to-me and a little under the radar! Anyways, I love them all for different reasons so let’s get to it- shall we?

Marie Flanigan Interiors

I recently discovered Marie Flanigan’s instagram the other day and got lost in her beautiful feed. Marie’s constant use of bright wants, classic neutrals and timeless design elements makes her a must-follow on Instagram in my opinion!

Omg, Mark D. Sikes. My bestie who doesn’t even know he’s my bestie. I got invited to a One Kings Lane party this summer in the Hamptons where Mark was hosting and I was so so sad I couldn’t attend. I’m still waiting for the day I can meet him! His love for blue and white, stripes, manicured gardens, big white houses and classic glamour makes him a favorite. Every space he touches inspires me to be more bold with my design decisions. P.s. have you see the Coastal Living Show House he designed in Newport, Rhode Island?! I will share another blog post this week giving you a deeper tour but if you’re not following Mark already, please do. You will thank me later.

Ok, ok, I know you know that I love Studio McGee. Shae is always inspiring me with her spaces! With the launch of her new store McGee & Co., now it’s easier than ever to add the Studio McGee touch to your home. Her blog is also bookmarked in my favorites. I promise following Studio McGee will not disappoint your Instagram feed.

Leanne is another new-to-me interior designer who is a must-follow on Instagram. Her use of natural woods, brown leather and bright white materials makes her Instagram one to watch.

Nancy Serafini Interiors

Ok, how cute is Nancy Serafini?! She messaged me on Instagram the other day saying how she discovered my blog post on her Nantucket home and was thrilled to be discovered by someone new! Her note was so sweet that I of course had to include her in my round up of 5 interior designers to follow on Instagram. Although she doesn’t have the largest following (yet), Nancy has been decorating for over 40 years and I’m sure has so much knowledge she can share with us all! Take a peek at her portfolio here.

Let’s Celebrate Something | Papyrus

Can you believe it’s August already? Summer is flying by! There has been so much to celebrate this summer. Between my 30th birthday a few weeks ago to my bestfriend’s weddings and engagement parties, this summer has been one big party!

Because I have been entertaining at home so much this summer, I was super excited when I heard Papyrus, one of my favorite stationary brands also sold party supplies! It’s perfect timing as I invited a few city friends over to my apartment for a late birthday celebration once I returned from Cleveland.

Not only did I pick up cupcakes, champagne and pretty pink flowers, I also picked up Papyrus’ “Let’s Celebrate Something” party goods! How cute are these napkins? In case you’re not familiar, Papyrus has a whole range of party goods. It’s Official | We’re Going To France!

You guys!!! It’s official. My boyfriend and I are headed to France next month! For two weeks to be exact.

Have you been?!

After brain storming a few different destinations, we ultimately decided that we wanted to visit the South of France. Italy, Spain and Greece were all contenders but as you guys already know I’m obsessed with France. So, c’est la vie!

Once we decided on the destination, Josh wanted to see if we could squeeze Paris in as well since he’s never been. My answer (as you could probably guess) was YES. So to break up the trip from the South of France to Paris, we will be stopping for two days in Provence. God forbid we have to wine taste in one of the best wine regions in the world! So here we are with an amazing 12 day agenda to look forward to. I’m partnering with a few amazing luxury hotels and Haven in Paris. Remember our super cute Haven in Paris apartment from 2015?! I’m so so excited to team up with Haven in Paris again and cannot WAIT to show you guys the place we are staying this time around.

As you could imagine, I’ve been shopping up a storm. Since we will be traveling in the dead of summer, I’m looking to stick to basic pieces I can swap in and out all vacation long. A lot of silk camis, wrap dresses, linen pants, jean shorts, striped shirts, and accessories!

What’s your packing strategy for a long vacation? Do you try to stick to a carry on? I just don’t know if I can do it!

Here are a few of the pieces I have on my France wish list:

A new pair of sunglasses – I LOVE these Le Specs sunnies.

A Solid & Striped Suit – eyeing this Chelsea One Piece right now.

High waist jean shorts – Madewell shorts are a no brainer.

Last but not least, a new sun hat! How cute is this Hatt Attack Panama hat?

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017

Good morning! And happy early access day. If you haven’t noticed hash tag #NSale all over the internet yet, early access day means it’s the first day you can shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

This is truly the one sale I look forward to every summer. In case you’re not familiar, Nordstrom lets consumers preview major fall pieces before returning to their regularly marked prices in the fall. I like to use this time to invest in classic wardrobe staples like a Burberry coat. I also like to invest in handbags and jeans which always tend to be an after thought for me. Last year I picked up these AG ankle leggings – I wear them on repeat most weekends. This open front cardigan is also back this year! Going to stock up in two more colors. Last but not least, a girl can never have too many basic tees (only $17 dollars!)

The best way to shop the sale is early and online. Many of the popular brands like Stuart Weitzman and Tory Bruch Sell out fast. I was so happy to see Stuart’s over-the-knee suede boots are back for $499!

With Nordstrom’s quick shipping and return policy, online is seriously the only way to go. Also – if you live near a Nordstrom, you can always buy online and pick up same day! Some stores even offer curb side pick up!

So here’s the scoop.

If you’re a Nordstrom card member, you can shop today – as in right now. If you’re not a card member, do not worry. The sale opens to the public on July 16th and runs through August 6th.
