Since many of my guy friends follow my blog, I thought it was only fair to share my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Men’s Top Picks, too! From outerwear to shoes and accessories, I’ve rounded up the best of the best when it comes to what guys should pick up for themselves this year.
I personally think the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is great for guys when it comes to outerwear, shoes and denim. Easy items that guys don’t have to try on if you know their size. I love this khaki rain jacket for fall, this quilted navy jacket (it’s online only), or this Northface jacket for casual weekendwear (only $99 dollars!). One of my favorite things to do during the summer is hang out in Central Park. Quite honestly, I don’t do it enough! It’s hard to make it up town with how much travel happens during the summer. If you live in New York or are planning a trip here soon, I obviously recommend making a pit stop in Central Park.
One of my favorite spots to enter is at the 72nd and 5th Avenue entrance. If you take a right down the first path (down the stairs) there is a pond located right by the conservatory. It’s one of my favorite locations in the park as little kids can play with remote control sail boats! It’s so freaking scenic. Oh, and if you’ve ever seen the movie 27 dresses, several scenes were filmed right by this pond and the Boat House!
Whenever I make a trip uptown, I love bringing a market tote that holds all of my necessities for a day in the park – a blanket, wine, cheese, camera, etc. I picked up this market bag at a vintage shop in Connecticut two summers ago for $10 dollars. It’s been one of my favorite finds to-date (I’ve listed a few similar options for you guys below!).
I always try to wear outfits during the summer that are casual but put together. This Brooks Brothers embroidered tank is a current favorite. The blue and white stripes paired with the orange embroidery makes it easy to love. Plus it’s marked down to $84 dollars! Yes, please. Other go-to park necessities: comfortable jeans, sneakers (I’m already on my second pair of these), and sunnies. I just picked up these Karen Walker Retro Sunglasses last week and pretty sure I’ll be wearing them on repeat the rest of summer. Hope you guys have some fun plans lined up for the weekend! Xo. You guys!!! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is HERE!!! This is absolutely my favorite sale all year. Designer pieces at major discounts. I’m talking up to 40-60% off! From Theory to Burberry to Alice + Olivia, this is the best time to preview and shop some of your favorite brands for fall before they’re marked up to their regular prices.(Pssst… this is the only time pieces will be this low; they go back to their normal prices in August).
If you’ve never shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, here are some important details you need to know. First, you need a Nordstrom debit or credit card to get the early access. If you don’t have a Nordstrom credit card, don’t you worry. You can still shop the sale when it opens to the general public starting July 22nd! If you do have early access to the sale, I strongly recommend taking a peep at the items within the first few days of the sale as many of the most popular items tend to sell out instantly.
I know it’s hard to shop fall pieces in the middle of July but I can’t help but get excited for fall when the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale comes around! Outerwear
I love shopping outerwear when it comes to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I particularly look out for new Burberry staples that I know I’ll wear for years to come. I’m currently loving the quilted hooded jacket and the navy toggle cropped jacket.
Shoes | Boots
When it comes to heels and boots, there are so many good ones this year! Insert these Tory Burch riding boots, these Stuart Weitzman booties (OBSESSED), and these pretty little suede over the knee boots. I also own a Love Token fur vest that I picked up at Nordstrom on sale and literally wear all the time during the fall and winter. This one is definitely on my shopping list this year as well + it comes it different colors!
Clothing | Denim
So the first item I have on my shopping list this year is this cashmere wrap! My friend Jess got it last year and I regretted not getting it when it was on sale! How can you say no to a cashmere wrap for $125 dollars?!
These stud earrings are a no-brainer (they kind of look like the Kate Spade ones, no?). This Michelle Harbor Diamond watch would make a great gift. And last but certainly not least, the Illesteva 50MM round sunglasses are marked down from $290 to $177 dollars. No question these are going to sell out.
