On My Radar: L.L. Bean
2

bean

Happy Friday, friends! I’m off to Chicago this afternoon for a short weekend. I haven’t been back since last July 4th and I’m so excited to see some of my best friends. It’s crazy to think that I started this blog back in Chicago over 5 years ago!!! Be sure to keep up-to-date with me on Instagram this weekend.

Any who, today is dedicated to L.L.Bean. My mom has been a fan of L.L. Bean since….forever and it’s only been the past two years or so I would say that I’ve really gotten in to their selection. From the classic Bean Boot to plaid flannel sheets, there is so much good stuff to shop! The L.L. Bean Monogram Tote is also a must-have in my book. They come in various sizes and you can either monogram your initials or have your entire name spelled out on the tote. Both look super cute in my opinion!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Normally I would say #GoCubsGo but I have to root for Cleveland this weekend. <3

Target’s Killing It: 10 Things I Want Right Now
1

You know I love me a good Tar-get trip. We had our first Target open in the city a few weeks ago, however, I haven’t had a chance to go because it’s so freaking far from my apartment. Most often times I prefer shopping online vs. going in to the actual store because cabbing furniture / larger decor pieces home can be such a pain in the butt. Anyways, I always love browsing Target when they launch a new collection. They have really upped their home decor game as of late. The Nate Burkus line is always a favorite.

Today I’ve rounded up 10 things I want right now! I recently bought this gold tripod lamp for my living room after seeing it in my best friend Julie’s apartment. This mid-century modern white desk looks like mine from West Elm except a fraction of the price. I’ve added this little end table to my wish list for my living room. And how good is this tufted accent chair in pale pink? Yes, please! Apologies for keeping it short and sweet today. This week is kicking my butt! How about them Indian’s last night?! #cleveland. <3

Fall Wardrobe Must-Haves
0

The weather in New York has been all over the place. This past weekend we had rain and high winds on Saturday and Sunday was a perfect fall day – sunshine all day! It certainly can be hard to dress this time of year – never really knowing what to expect from the weather. If you’re unsure how to build a fall wardrobe, I’ve rounded up a few key pieces that you can wear rain or shine!

One. A classic trench coat is a fall wardrobe #1 must-have in my opinion. I picked up my first trench in college and still have it 7 years later! Two. Hunter rain boots – perfect for rain or snow when the weather turns unpredictable during the cooler months! Three. Wide brim hat – An easy fall accessory that will help you dress up any fall look! Four. Flannel/plaid shirts – perfect for weekend wear. Five. A classic white/cream sweater. Six. A fleece popover – Patagonia is my favorite! Throw it on to go to the gym, run errands, to the grocery, you name it! Seven – Over-the-knee boots. I invested in my first pair of Stuart Weitzman two years ago and still wear them all the time each fall! If you don’t want to spend the money, try this pair for around $100 dollars first! Eight. A camel coat. Take a peek at 9 more camel pieces that will perfectly your fall wardrobe. Ten – Chelsea bootie. I picked up my first pair of Sam Edelman’s chelsea bootie two years ago and wore them so much I already need a new pair!

Shop all of my favorite fall wardrobe must-haves below! Xo. Lauren
