Hellooooo, week three! Can you believe we’re half way through the One Room Challenge? In case you missed it, take a peek at what happened Week 1 and Week 2.

This week was all about my desk area. From day one, I knew I wanted to get rid of the mini Ikea kallax shelf I had as my nightstand. Instead I wanted a desk that could also double as my nightstand because I seriously needed somewhere to #WERK. It’s hard to believe but whenever I work from home, I blog from my couch or bed. Not ideal I can tell you that!

Anywho, deciding on a desk was one of the hardest decisions I had to make this One Room Challenge! I was going back and forth for days on whether or not I was going to go with West Elm’s Mini Mid-Century Desk. 1) It’s kind of pricey. 2) You can find a white desk pretty much anywhere. However, when I was shopping with a girlfriend one day and saw the desk in person, I knew it had to be mine. Positives: It came relatively fast and it was SO easy to put together. I’m so excited how it turned out this week.

Next up: Need to make a final decision on the chair. I’m leaning towards the Hans Wagner Wishbone which duh, you knew already since blogged it about this week. Also, I think I’m in a time crunch to finalize prints for my new gallery wall (only three weeks left!). Please leave a comment if you love any pieces of art or photographs I should incorporate!!!
