Can we please talk about Hans Wagner’s Wishbone Chair for a second?

In case you are keeping up with my One Room Challenge (Week 1 & Week 2 for reference), I have been decorating like crazy. More to come this Thusrday, but my desk finally arrived!!! I bit the bullet and went with West Elm’s Mini Mid-Century desk after searching high and low for the perfect white desk. After coming to this design decision, it’s now time to nail down a chair. I have been such a fan of Hans Wagner Wishbone Chair for quite some time. With it’s sleek design and use of natural materials, it’s no surprise we see it time and time again in different home features across the web. It’s a classic piece you can most certainly hold on to for years to come.

Although an original Hans Wagner wishbone chair can run around $500-$600 a piece, I’d prefer to “get the look” for now (#girlonabudget). Amazon particularly has a great option in addition to Wayfair. Although not your typical “wishbone” design, West Elm’s John Vogel chair has a similar look which I also love.

Very excited to update you guys this Thursday with more One Room Challenge updates! Have a great Tuesday. Xo. Lauren

I love the look of these too, but have you sat in one? I finally did and they’re not super comfy for a long dinner or work session. What about a “Napa chair” or Louis XV instead?
