Today I’m pretty excited to launch what I hope to be a new weekly feature I’m calling “Instagram Stories: Stylish People & Places.” A.k.a Who to follow on Instagram.

A few weeks ago you may remember I posted about my top 10 favorite interior design pinners to follow on Pinterest. Don’t worry, you can read it right here if you missed it. Anywho, you guys seemed to have liked it and I thought it would be fun to do an Instagram edition. You know.. because you know our worlds revolve around Instagram and because who doesn’t need more inspiration on a daily basis? I’m hoping to feature some of my personal favorite stylish people you may not be following or who are more under-the-radar Instagrammers at the moment.

So what better way to kick things off than with the one and only Lucy Laucht. If you don’t follow her already, get ready for some serious wanderlust. From the beaches of Australia to the best floors around the world (I also have a thing with floors), Lucy Laucht’s insta game is strong. When Lucy isn’t sharing her serious aesthetic with the world, you can find her doing social for @Jcrew or blogging over at theseforeignlands.com. Be sure to follow along with Lucy’s Instagram adventures right here.

So what do you think? Yay or nay for this new weekly feature? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!! Xo. Lauren

A tried-and-trued wardrobe staple, the classic blue shirt is one of my all time FAVORITE closet MVPs. As seen on street style mavens across the globe, I love a good blue shirt as you can easily dress it up or down. Pair it with ripped denim for weekend wear attire or tuck it in with black trousers for a great 9-5p work ensemble.

I recently dedicated a whole Pinterest board to the blue shirt because there are so many great inspired looks to steal from. Plus who doesn’t love a good “borrowed from the boys” look? I found a few new favorite blue shirt options that you can add to your wish list: try this cute little popover from J.Crew, this oversize boyfriend look from Asos or a more tailored cut from Tommy. You can shop all of my favorite classic blue shirts below! Happy Tuesday, loves! Xo. Lauren

If there’s one look I’m loving, it’s sheepskin rugs. Decorating with sheepskin rugs I’ve learned is one of the easiest ways to provide a high-end look to any room. Drape a sheepskin rug over a chair, bench or layer it on top of another rug for an instant chic and perfectly layered look.

When I re-designed my bedroom for the One Room Challenge, I knew I wanted to incorporate a sheepskin rug somewhere throughout my bedroom. After searching high and low for the perfect sheepskin rug, I decided on a “girl on a budget” option from Target which you can pick up for just $40 dollars! So far I’ve layered it on top of my Dash and Albert rug, on top AND below my custom Liven Up Design x-bench and over my Hans Wagner Wishbone Chair. What I love most about sheepskin rugs is how versatile they are! If I had more room for sheepskin rugs, I would be tossing them around my apartment like confetti!

Other sheepskin rugs on my radar include: this one from Pottery Barn. I love how big and cozy this natural sheepskin rug from One Kings Lane looks. And last but not least this faux sheepskin rug from Wayfair. You can shop all of my current favs below!!
