There’s nothing I love more than a good headband. Some of my girlfriends might say that I wear them too much but I love that when I don’t feel like styling my hair, I can easily throw on a headband and call it a day.
My favorite headband brand to-date is easily Lele Sadoughi – I know her price points are high but so worth the investment if you love headbands as much as me. They are the most comfortable headbands I’ve found to-date and trust me, I’ve tried a lot!! Lele’s tartan plaid / jeweled headband is officially my next headband purchase – how cute would this be for all of our holiday zooms?!
Outside of hair accessories, has anyone else been on the hunt for new face masks? Lele Sadoughi’s face masks are also comfortable and stylish but a few other styles I have on my radar include these tartan plaid face masks from J.Crew Factory,Old Navy and Etsy.

P.s. I’m sure you’ve seen on the news how shipping delays are expected this year due to the pandemic so highly recommend getting started a bit early if you can!!
Let’s break it down, shall we?!
Best Gift Ideas For Her
One. One of the best gift ideas (in my opinion) is giving a great coffee table book! It’s thoughtful and personal because you can gift in a category whoever on your list may be most interested in. Insert, The Home Edit Book, for one of my besties who was just obsessed with the Netflix show as I was!! Case in point here. Also curated an updated list of coffee table books right here.
Two. This silk slip cover pillow case was one of the most popular gifts from last year’s gift guide so I included it again! Plus it’s a great gift idea under $100 dollars.
Three. An oldie but always a goodie gift idea is a diptyque candle or candle set. I’ve given this gift many times over the years and it’s always well received!
Four. For a more high-end, luxury gift idea for your mom, mother-in-law or aunt is anything from David Yurman. I know as soon as my mom reads this blog post she is going to call me saying she wants this chain link bracelet!!!
Six. For the home body or home decor enthusiast on your list, Serena and Lily sheets would be an amazing gift to receive!! Also, not sure if you’ve seen but Serena and Lily also recently created a “bedding bundle” collection which could also make for a great gift idea. Take a peek right here!
Seven. A great gift idea under $50 dollar I always love to include each year are these Kate Spade earrings.
Eight. Have you heard of the SouthernLinen Etsy Shop? This is one of my favorite shops on Etsy where you can find a wide variety of personal & monogrammed gift ideas. Be sure to shop early on any monogrammed gift ideas this year as shipping times may be lagged & increased due to the personalization! P.s. if you love a good monogram, take a peek at this blog post I did two years ago on where to buy monogrammed pillows! I still refer back to it to this day.
Nine. Cosmetic cases are something that I tend to run in to the ground and don’t replace often which is why I love giving them as a gift idea! I also loved these block print cosmetic cases from Amanda Lindroth.
Ten. White + Warren — A must buy!!! Whether for yourself or a loved one on your list this holiday season. White + Warren scarves are seriously THE best and 100% worth the price.
Eleven. For another gift idea under $50 dollars, L.L. Bean’s monogrammed totes are another great gift idea that you can easily personalize.
Twelve. Le Labo fragrance — santal 33 and another 13 are two popular scents where you can’t go wrong giving as a gift to just about anyone on your list.
Thirteen. Last but not least, for something a bit more practical take a peek at this light blue rain coat from Nordstrom. So pretty and it’s currently on major sale!!
It’s starting to feel like fall (finally!!) here in New York with temperatures dropping and Halloween right around the corner. Today I’m excited to share with you guys how I’m setting the table for fall with Juliska! It’s no secret around here how much I love the brand — Juliska’s tabletop collections are timeless and you can easily mix and match the collections throughout the year.
I ran to the flower market before getting started and found some beautiful fall hydrangeas — I’m not sure if these technically have a name but I loved the purplish/green tint and thought they would make a great statement in the center of the table. They were quite large as well so I trimmed the stems to see if they would fit in one of my most used Juliska pieces — the oversized glass hurricane. If you like to decorate with hurricanes as well, I highly recommend the 15.75″ hurricane!
After creating the centerpiece, I started layering the table with Juliska’s rustic rope natural chargers. They are even more beautiful in person and in my opinion are the perfect layering piece for setting a fall table. Aren’t they pretty!?
I then mixed and matched the dinner and salad plates pulling from the French Panel & Berry and Thread collections — I opted for the French Panel for the dinner plates and the round berry and thread salad plates in white wash.
When it comes to Juliska’s glass collections you can easily save for special occasions or use them everyday! I mixed and matched the footed water goblets (which we now use everyday) with Juliska’s full body red wine glasses.
We also displayed the Amalia wine decanter right on the table which was great for our friends to just easily pass around and pour themselves another glass of wine.
Last but not least, I finished layering the table with Juliska’s Berry and Thread 5 piece Satin Flatware setting. The silverware is made out of stainless steel and I how it gave our table a rustic but refined style!
P.s. I know the holidays are about to sneak up on us — for anyone on your list who may be looking to expand their tabletop collection or are recently engaged, I’d recommend any of Juliska pieces that come in the white wash — their Amalia entertainment and serving pieces make for great gifts! Take a peek at their triple server,10″ serving bowl, or the whitewash chip n’ dip platter. And just in case you missed it, take a peek at previous Juliska tablescapes right here!!
