End of Summer Whites
0

I cannot believe summer is “officially” over this weekend! I don’t know about you but just because the end of the season is coming to an end, does not mean we have to stop rocking our white. I’ll definitely be packing some of my favorite summer whites for Paris – white jeans, easy white sweaters for layering, breezy dresses for daytime trips and button ups for the cool summer evenings.  It’s supposed to in the 60’s (hello, fall!) so I have a feeling I will be doing a lot of layering this weekend.

Below are some of my favorite end of summer whites.

Insert these Mataharie Sunglasses – need.

White Vince Loafers to take you from summer to fall.

Jo Malone Hand Lotion because dry hands are not cute.

The perfect end of summer bikini if you ask me.

The cutest Lacoste skirt for all of you tennis pros out there.

Serena and Lily’s Payton table lamp for fresh lighting for a new season.

Diptyque candle in the BEST scent. Will most certainly be stocking up on these at the Diptyque headquarters on Boulevard Saint Germain in Paris.

Hello, loves! How was your weekend?

I’m soooo excited for this week as I’m headed back to Paris! This summer has been such a whirlwind I haven’t really thought much about this next trip. If you remember, I was in Paris earlier in the year with Jess and my friend Carly from college. That was my first time back to Paris in five years and can’t believe I get to go back so soon (let alone in the same year). In case you are wondering, one of my best friends from college is getting married!

I never did end up sharing my favorite things to do in Paris after my first trip (you can see my must-do activities in London here) but I will be sure to do one in a few weeks once I’m back and settled.

Anywho, I took this weekend to do absolutely nothing. This was my first weekend back in the city since MAY. Not sure how that even happened but luckily I was able to start packing for Paris. So today I’m rounding up a few key items I will be packing like off the shoulder tops (duh), statement earings, sandals for daytime activities, a chic sun hat and you know I can’t forget my eye cream and face masks. I didn’t have time to purchase but how CUTE is this Clare Viver Oui bag?

Have a great start to your week! Xo. Lauren

John Robshaw Textiles

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen that I was back in Montauk this past weekend with Gab and Sam! We opted to spend the weekend at the infamous Crow’s Nest which is well known for their restaurant and beach front bar. I have to say, Crow’s Nest may easily be my new favorite hotel in the Hamptons.

The property is only made up of about 10 rooms in addition to the main restaurant and beach front landing. I kid you not when I say the designers did not skip out on any details from the restaurant to the rooms.

As soon as we stepped in the door, we all noticed right away the bold prints and fabrics used throughout the entire room. Insert John Robshaw. I have to admit, I was not aware of the textile designer nor his wide breadth of products before this weekend. From bedding to bath robes to bath towels, it’s safe to say I’m officially converted!!!

Sleeping in these sheets felt like heaven (we slept until 11am on Sunday!). And of course I was obsessed with the pattern mixing of the pillows on the bed and day bed (not pictured) in the room.

So as I search for my new favorite bedding from the textile designer, I wanted to round up a few of my favorite inspirational designs utilizing John’s prints as well as products you can shop at Neiman Marcus or Bloomingdale’s.
