Dreaming Of A Warm Weather Getaway | Vacation Styles
0

If this next Covid spike doesn’t have you daydreaming of a warm weather getaway, I don’t know what will! We are planning on heading down to Palm Beach next week for New Years but like so many others, we’re currently reevaluating all of our upcoming travel plans. All I know is if we don’t go, we will need a warm weather getaway in our future asap!

Anywho, I am loving all of Shopbop‘s new resort-ready styles. From new swimsuits and cover-ups from fan favorites like Hunza G and Beach Riot to colorful new dresses from ALC and Zimmermann, there are so many new goodies to browse for any upcoming vacation plans you might have!

Some of my favorite vacation styles I bought last summer for our honeymoon that I know I’ll wear on repeat next year are the classic round sunglasses from Ray-Ban, the Parker Long Loose Vintage Shorts from Agolde, and the Jeanne Hat from Gigi Burris – this hat was easily the best purchase I made before our trip. I wore it every single day and couldn’t recommend it more.

If you’re looking for some pretty vacation dresses, you HAVE to look at Caroline Constas‘ latest collection. I seriously want every single piece – also her bathing suits and ruffle shorts are adorable!! Augua Bendita, AJE and Staud are my other go-to brands for fun vacation dresses.

Happy holidays and warm weather dreaming. 🙂 Xx. Lauren

Warm Weather Dreaming
0

I don’t know about you but I am fully ready for a warm weather getaway!! Josh and I are currently brainstorming warm weather destinations for February — anywhere we can play golf and tennis is good in our book! We’re currently considering a few different spots across Florida or Charleston!! If you guys have any recommendations, we’d love to hear! I’m also dying to go to Palmetto Bluff at some point but that one might just have to wait.

Now that we have a warm weather getaway on the horizon, I’ve started browsing resort/spring collections on Shopbop and there are so many pretty tops, dresses and bathing suits out right now!! One brand I’ve been loving since last year is Agua Bendita and Agua by Agua Bendita – number 2 and 3 below are from the brand and I am so tempted splurge on both. Eeeep! Other go-to brands for any warm weather vacation include my favs — Marysia, Rhode, and Carrie Forbes. I definitely love shopping for spring/summer more than winter I have to say — who’s with me?

Any one else dreaming of a warm weather getaway?! Happy shopping. Xx.

Must-Haves For Your Next Warm Weather Getaway
0

With the coldest months right around the corner, all I can think about is our next warm weather getaway! This time last year we were in Anguilla – ugh!! Take me back. Although we don’t have any major warm weather vacations on the calendar at the moment, we are debating a short trip to Florida one weekend in February. Any bit of sunshine is better than nothing! Who’s with me?

I’ve been perusing all of Shopbop ‘s new arrivals & vacation style must-haves and can’t get enough of Zimmerman and Carolina K  at the moment. How pretty & fun is this floral frock? I also recently discovered this handbag line called Serpui Marie which makes the cutest wicker bags including this crab wicker clutch & this toucan clutch.

My other vacation must-haves include a cute and colorful headband from Lele Sadoughi, a pair of Soludos that you can easily wear from day-to-night and a cute pair of sunglasses and statement earrings.

Warm Weather Getaway Essentials

What-To-Pack-For-Beach-Getaway

If you follow me on Instagram, you might know I was in Miami the other weekend! If you’re in need of a beach getaway asap, I highly recommend! There’s nothing better – even if it’s for 48 hours – than being on the beach during the dead of winter! I’ll be following up with a 48 hours blog post for what to do in Miami but in the meantime, I thought it would be fun to round up my warm weather getaway essentials. From ruffles to gold accents, I’ve included so many new spring goodies below – I can’t wait to start shopping for spring/summer!

How cute is THIS top? And it’s only $98 dollars! You better believe I’ll be adding it to my spring wardrobe. A one-piece ruffle bathing suit can do no wrong. I bought these “to wear” and “to wash” Kate Spade bags for my trip to Anguilla and have been using them for every single trip. The Gorjana team sent me this ring set and I’ve gotten SO many compliments!! The best part is that they are only $55 dollars but look way more expensive. You can shop all of my favorite products below by clicking on the black and white plus signs in the collage or at the way bottom under “shop the post.” Happy Monday, friends!! Xo. Lauren
