Happy Friday, ladies!!! Hope you all have some fun weekend plans lined up. I was going to head back to the Hamptons this weekend but I opted to stay in the city. I have some party planning to attend to for July! Can’t wait to share more details on the party soon..
Anywho, today I’m sharing what’s in my beach bag. With summer in full swing, I try to keep my beach bag game strong. Whenever I travel, I try to keep the major summer necessities on me at all times. You never know when the sun is going to hit! First, an oversized beach bag is a must. I particularly have multiple straw bags like this one. How cute are the colorful pom poms? I also came across the We Are Poolside Collection last weekend in Montauk and have my eye on multiple.
After visiting Montauk this past weekend, one thing’s for certain: I need a pair of Adidas’ Stan Smith sneakers. I might be a little late on this trend but the good news is that the trend is definitely not over. Montauk has turned into a very ‘Meat Packing / SoHo’ scene which at times can be too ‘sceney’ for me, but the fashion inspiration is endless. Lit-er-ally every girl in Montauk was rocking a pair of white Stan Smith sneakers this weekend. I didn’t even really know what they were until I asked Jess about them. So now I’m on a mission to get a pair (or two) to wear with slip dresses, ripped denim and shorts all summer long. You can shop some of my favorite versions below. I would highly recommend shopping on Nordstrom as their return policy is much easier to deal with compared to other retailers. Also be sure to size down (1 whole size) for the best fit. I usually wear a size 8 1/2 so I went with a 7 1/2 in these. I already picked up the white/dark blue version but have my eyes on the green pair as well. If I’m feeling really crazy, I might even opt for the classic ‘Superstar’ Adidas sneaker. I promise they look much better on vs. online. And how cute are they in the blue and white version?! And these, and these. Alright, I’m done. But seriously, go get a pair. Everyone is doing it. 😉 Happy Tuesday, my friends!
Every girl in Montauk this weekend was wearing these Adidas sneaks. Needless to say I had to get a pair for myself plus they’re only $75 dollars, so duh.
Jess and I met Ashley this weekend who runs the Poolside Collective, a pop up shop at the Montauk Beach House. They seriously have the cutest tote bags for summer. Cute, but psycho – Am I right?!
