Weekend Notes

Good morning!!! Happy Friday.

This week has been quite the whirlwind. It seems like summer is only speeding up. I’m off to Atlanta this weekend to visit one of my bestfriends from high school! Very excited for another weekend of rest and relaxation, that’s for sure!

A few links from around the web I loved this week. <3

  • In case you need a new duvet in your life, you should probably pick up this one.
  • Thinking about upping my sun glass game for my remaining trips to the Hamptons. I lost my last pair of Illesteva’s (don’t even want to talk about it) but might force myself to get a new pair! Which do you like?

Coffee Table Books For The Girl On The Go
1

If you have been reading this little corner of the web of mine for a while, you might know about my obsession with coffee table books. I’m trying my damn hardest to expand my collection over time. I love how coffee table books can instantly dress up a book shelf, dresser or nightstand (they are my number one style accessory). And of course I love giving them as gifts. Coffee table books are one of the best ways to pretty up your home and express your personality and interests! You can read more about how to decorate with books right this way.

So with the increased travel that summertime brings on the east coast, I thought it’d be fun to share a few coffee table books for the girl on the go! A few I already have in my collection like How To Be Parisian and The Hamptons: Food, Family, History but there are many more that I need to pick up. You can click on the black and white + sign on the collage below to shop each book on Amazon. Happy Tuesday, friends! Xo. Lauren

Happy Sunday, friends! It’s been a little quiet around here but that’s summer for ya! I have been traveling with my family since last Wednesday. If you follow me on Instagram (@_laurennelson_) or Snapchat (laurennelsonny), you may have seen I was in Newport, Rhode Island these past few days! I will do a full recap of where to stay, what to do and where to dine. We had perfect weather, Newport is definitely one of my favorite little towns to visit!

In other weekend news, I’ve rounded up my favorite links from around the web this week. Hope you all had a great weekend! Xo. Lauren

  • I picked up a Burberry puffer last Anniversary Sale and never looked back. This one is very similar and I’m not kidding when I say it’s so worth the investment and you’ll wear it all winter long!
  • I have this sweater in my shopping cart – to buy or not to buy? Love.
