My Daily Beauty Routine
0

If one thing is certain, I take my daily beauty routine seriously!

You all know I’m quite obsessed with my skincare products but there is so much more I do every day that I consider apart of my “beauty routine” that aren’t necessarily beauty products. So today I’m sharing 5 different ways of how I incorporate a mix of healthy habits and favorite products that are all part of my daily beauty routine!

One Drink warm water with lemon. I was first introduced to this concept by Gwyneth Paltrow and now I try to make this every morning. There are so many benefits to drinking warm water with lemon including – it reduces inflamation, helps with digestion, cleanses your system and helps you lose weight! Lemons contain pectin fiber which helps curbs cravings. Sign me up.

Two. Apply my favorite skincare products.  THIS is one of my favorite parts of my day. A few months back I shared how I updated my skincare regimen here and now I’ve updated it again! Most recently I have started incorporating Dermalogica Hydrablur Primer.

When dermalogica sent me their latest product, the hydrablur primer, I couldn’t wait to try it. As I’ve blogged about before, one of my biggest skin challenges is hydration. Thank goodness the Hydrablur Primer includes an H2o Release Complex which provides intense moisture and helps lock in hydration levels – all.day.long. If that’s not enough, the Hydrablur Primer also helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Three. ALL of the water and green tea. I have most recently started trying to drink the appropriate daily amount of water. This has most certainly had an effect on my skin. As I mentioned above, one of my biggest skincare challenges is hydration! I try to combat this by upping my water intake. It is hard and of course, some days are better than others. Do you ever have trouble drinking your daily amount?

Four. Work Out! Not always easily said and done but I have also been trying to up my work outs each morning. And if they don’t happen in the morning, they don’t happen at all. I work in advertising during the day so my weeks and days tend to vary. What I find works best is that I need to schedule my workouts in advance if they are going to happen! Some of my favorite beauty benefits to exercise is how well I sleep at night.

Five. Drink more green juice. A few weeks ago I tried a juice cleanse by Juice Press and now I’m absolutely hooked! Like drinking water with lemon, there are so many benefits to incorporating more green juice in your routine – including GLOWING skin.

You know when you get a call from your mother saying how you haven’t been nearly posting as much on your blog and that your going to lose all your followers – it’s time to get your shit together. What can I say? Summer, travel and work has seriously gotten the best of me these past few months.

So I hope with my travel schedule slowing down this fall (although I’m currently writing this post on a plane to St. Louis… I swear this is my last trip!) things will be much more fun around here. And hopefully someone….anyone….is still out there reading along. So thanks, Mom! I can always count on you to look at my blog every single day and tell me like it is. LOVE YOU!
