Happy Monday, ladies and gents! In case you missed it or you’re just tuning in, I shared my bedroom reveal last week. I LOVED reading everyone’s comments so keep em’ coming! Gray Malin also featured my bedroom last week which is always fun as I’m such a big fan of his work.
In other #ProjectUpperEastSide news, I’m so excited to finally share my custom chair reveal I had made in partnership with DecoratorsBest, Ralph Lauren and Society Social!
You guys!!! I’m so excited to finally share with you my bedroom reveal! In case you are just tuning in, I moved to the Upper East Side at the end of last year. I redesigned my old bedroom as part of the One Room Challenge which you can see right here. Although moving is such a pain in New York, I was very excited to have the chance to makeover a totally new space. It’s taken longer than expected to finish my apartment (as many of you know, my living room is still in the works!) but nonetheless, the bedroom is FINALLY finished so here it is. I am so happy with how it turned out and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without working with amazing brands like Gray Malin, The Mine, Gansett Lane Home, Annie Selke and more.
Have you guys noticed how popular blush is this spring? From blush dresses to blush heels, there are so many fabulous plush pink outfits to steal this spring. I have to admit, I’m not a huge blush girl. For whatever reason, it’s just not a color I opt for first when I’m shopping. BUT I looooveee the look of an all-blush outfit. A matching blush cardigan, a silk cami and a blush skirt is super chic, am I right?! If you’re like me and looking to get more blush inspiration, Gal Meets Glam is always a great resource! This girl has mastered blush-mixing in my opinion – I’m not even sure if that’s a thing!.
How cute are these wedge fringe heels? I also love these blush pink strappy sandals. Both are under $100 dollars! This midi dress would be great for work or play if you paired it with a classic jean jacket. Whether alone or layered, a silk cami is a wardrobe must. This option from J.Crew is only $59 dollars! Last but not least, I’m on a major hunt to add some silk scafs to my wardrobe – tie it around your neck or bag to up your style.
We’re almost to Friday!! P.s. be sure to follow along my instagram stories tomorrow. I’m finally shooting for my bedroom reveal. Can’t wait to show you guys what I’ve done with the new place!! Xo. Lauren
I cannot believe Mother’s Day is next weekend! I’m headed back home to Cleveland. This will be the first time in years I’ll be able to spend Mother’s Day with my mom. I know we’ll spend it doing just what we love – watching movies on the couch or shopping at Beachwood Mall, of course.
Today I’m rounding up a few different gift ideas that are sure to say “I have the chic-est Mom, ever!” A lot of my favorite gifts this year are from Tuckernuck. From accessories like sun hats and earrings to home decor like barware or cocktail napkins, Tuckernuck has so many cute gift ideas you can shop this year. I personally love this blue and white striped bath robe. Plus it’s under $100 dollars. This sun hat would be great for the beach & this red and white wine tote bag reminds me of L.L. Bean’s classic tote bags.
Last but not least, you should definitely check out Aerin Lauder‘s new line for Williams-Sonoma. If you love blue and white as much as me, this line has so many great gift options. My mom (and ok, me) need these ikat napkins.
