One key things I’ve learned about living in New York during these hot summer months is that linen dresses are everything. The fabric is light, airy and most importantly, breathable. I’ve recently been stocking up on pieces that are made up of cotton, linen or a blend of both. A simple white linen shirt or white linen pants are something you’ll reach for again and again whether you live or are traveling to a warm weather destination. You can easily pair a linen dress with a jean jacket and sandals or heels and you’re good to go for summer in New York! I just announced on Instagram but my boyfriend and I officially booked our trip to France! We will be visiting the South of France, Provence and Paris – of course. I have a strong feeling I will be living in linen dresses the entire time we will be over there. I recently came across Brooklyn based design firm Chango & Co. Are you familiar with their work? You can follow them here! After discovering them on Instagram, I decided to take a peek at their portfolio when coming back from the Hampton’s yesterday. One of my girlfriends and her husband who we were with this past weekend hired them to design their Tribecca apartment. I seriously cannot wait to see the end result! Anywho, after getting lost for what seemed like forever browsing their website and Instagram I had to share this Westchester Family Abode.
What I love most about discovering new design firms is pulling inspiration that you can totally recreate in your own home. I’ve seen this Serena and Lily blue and white rug used in multiple living rooms, dinning rooms and bedrooms! You also can totally mimic the dinning chairs in this home with Serena and Lily’s striped bistro chairs or the pendants utilizing these Santa Barbara Pendants. So cute, am I right?! And can we please talk about the Feather Wallpaper? A classic wallpaper staple in beach homes on the East Coast.

Good morning!! Apologies for the radio silence around here. It’s officially summer so please bare with me as my blog posts come in ebbs and flows!! These past few weekends have been quite the whirlwind with traveling to Fire Island and Connecticut over Memorial Day weekend, spending time with my family in Newport, and visiting Amagansett last weekend! With all of this travel to iconic east coast locations, I have to fill you guys in on my new favorite beach bag. Insert: Poolside bags. They have the best in swimwear, summer clothing, jewelry/accessories and of course beach bags! What I love most about Poolside’s beach bags is that they are 100% customizable. You can pick the size of the beach bag, a funny/personal quote and the color of the thread! I customized my beach bag a few weeks ago and I cannot wait for it to arrive in the mail! It takes a few weeks for your custom order to be shipped so that’s why I wanted to get it on your guys’ radar now. Of course I’ll be sharing it all over my instagram as soon as mine arrives!
