If there is one thing my mom has taught me about decorating is that you can always find whatever you’re looking for at the flea market. One of the biggest reasons I wanted to fit Provence in our very busy 12-day tour around France was the flea markets.
The Best Of The Provence Flea Markets

The Chicest Hotel in Provence – La Mirande Hotel, Avignon France
I always dreamed about visiting Provence. From the chateaux’s to the flea markets to the vineyards, I understand why families around the world love to spend their summers in Provence.
After touring around Saint Tropez and the coastal towns of Antibes, Eze and Monaco, we caught the train from Antibes to Avignon early one Friday morning. I debated for weeks which part of Provence we should visit. If you’ve ever done research on the region, you know how many super cute and charming villages there are throughout the entire region so how is a girl to choose?!
We ultimately decided on Avignon so we could stay at the famous La Mirande Hotel, a 5-star boutique hotel located right in the heart of city. We were so so happy with our decision as this was one of my favorite hotel experiences of all time.
The October Edit
It’s officially October! Fall in New York is seriously the best. I hope everyone picked up some goodies last week during the Shopbop sale. I saved up and bought the classic Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots. Fingers crossed they fit!!
In case you need more fall inspiration, I’ve rounded up some cute must-haves in my October Edit. Has anyone else noticed that pale pink is ev-ery-whereeeeeee?! I’m not a huge pink person but there are certain shades I can totally get on board with. How cute is this Madewell leather jacket? This pale pink trench coat is also great as the leaves start to change – plus, it’s only $129 dollars! Yes, please. I’ve been burning this Diptyque candle all weekend long. Last but not least, I want this blouse in every single color ($49 dollars!).
4 Tips On Entertaining Friends At Home This Fall

Can you guys believe it’s officially fall?!
Even though we experienced 80 degree temperatures this past weekend in New York, I’ve already started breaking out my fall decor.
What I love most about fall is spending my weekends at home. There’s nothing better than inviting a few girlfriends over and dishing over good wine and a delicious cheese plate. Who’s with me?!
Today I’m so excited to share with you four key tips on entertaining friends at home this fall.
One – Must-Have Good Wine
The key to entertaining at home this fall is to always (and I repeat) to always have a good wine on hand.
Given that September is a transitional month, it’s the perfect time of year to drink white wine. I personally love Chloe Wine Collection’s Pinot Grigio. It’s light, crisp and refreshing!
Plus, I love Chloe’s pretty wine labels! I always think displaying bottles of Chloe Wine enhances each and every tablescape I create. Did you know you can purchase the Chloe Wine Collection directly on Amazon right here? Yes, please!
Two – Pick Up Mini Pumpkins
When decorating for fall, take a peek at your local flower store or grocery to see if they have mini pumpkins. Whether you prefer the real ones or faux mini pumpkins, you can typically find them in a variety of colors.
What I love most about incorporating mini pumpkins is they can up your seasonal decor an instant. Place them throughout a tablescape like I did here or group them together in a bowl to create a festive centerpiece. Mini pumpkins are a very easy (and affordable!) way to provide a fall flare to your home. Psst.. I want these faux white ones from pottery barn next!
Three – Create a Quick & Easy Cheese Platter
If you want to be the hostess-with-the-mostess, create a quick and easy cheese platter for your guests. Cheese platters don’t have to be complicated to be delicious! My favorite key components when creating a cheese platter include a block of brie cheese (my favorite), pre-cut pieces of sliced cheese, crackers, berries and nuts. My favorite Chloe Pinot Grigio pairs perfectly with a fresh mozzarella!
Four – Fresh Flowers
Almost as important as tip number one but fresh flowers are a must when entertaining guests at home! White hydrangeas are my go-to — as they look beautiful in just about any vase. I love displaying them in classic tall vases, round bubble vases or blue and white ginger jars for a more sophisticated center piece effect.
What are some of your favorite entertaining tips when hosting friends over in the fall?
