Everything I’m Loving For Summer

Can you believe summer is right around the corner!? The weather in New York this past week has been amazing – not too hot but not cold which makes me so excited for warmer days ahead.

As you guys know, I’ve been shopping up a storm for all our various wedding festivities we have coming up — our one month countdown is officially on!! Eeeep! We are currently in the midst of finalizing our honeymoon so I’ve been on the hunt for easy summer dresses, fun bathing suits, comfortable sandals, lightweight sweaters and just about anything linen.

I’ll have to do a blog post about everything I wore to my bachelorette party but in the meantime I wanted to share the brands & pieces I’m currently loving & have recently worn:

  • Montce Swim – One of my girlfriends recently told me about this swimwear brand to try for my bachelorette party and I absolutely LOVED it. Their suits are so comfortable – they suck you in and are really flattering. Shopbop has a great selection but you can also shop more options directly on their site here.
  • Rhode – A new-to-me brand that I keep seeing on Instagram, finally tried and LOVED. I wore the white dress below to my bachelorette party.
  • 9Seed – If you’re headed to the beach this summer, 9Seed carries the perfect selection of linen dresses and tops.
  • Aje – I wore a dress from Aje to my bridal shower and can’t wait to expand my collection of pieces from this brand. Truly so comfortable and flattering.
  • Cut Gaia – Cut Gaia has a great selection of shoes, summer dresses you can wear to the beach & fancy bathing suits.
  • Rebecca de Ravenel – The queen of statement earrings I love Rebecca’s jewelry for events.
  • Veronica Beard – I recently bought a pair of white jeans for Veronica Beard and currently loving their summer wardrobe essentials.
  • Paravel – If you’re in the market for a new weekender bag, Paravel creates sustainable luggage, bags and travel accessories.

Brand I’m Loving: STAUD

You guys – I have a confession. I have been online shopping this past week like no body’s business. Mostly searching for things I can wear to my bachelorette party, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner & honeymoon!! If you want to know which retailer has the best white dressers or which designer has the best resort /swim wear, I’m your girl. P.s. if you have any friends getting married this summer feel free to send them my recent blog post rounding up a great selection of white dresses for the bride-to-be!!

Anywho – one brand that is now on my radar after searching the internet up and down for my various upcoming events is STAUD. Are you familiar with this brand? I recently discovered them on Shopbop and I loved their relaxed linen dresses, tops and shorts that we could easily dress up or down this spring or summer.

A few other brands I’ve been loving this week when I’ve been searching specifically for my bachelorette party include Shoshanna (how cute is this white cover up?!), Charlie Holiday, and Melissa Odabash. End of Summer Sales & Steals

Summer-Getaway

With Labor Day right around the corner, now is one of the best times to stock up on end of summer steals! So many of our favorite retailers are having major sales including Shopbop, Tuckernuck, Nordstrom and more.

Since our wedding is next summer, I’m beginning to keep an eye out for any and all white dresses that may be on major sale as well as bathing suits & shoes that I may be able to wear next year throughout all of our various festivities! I also love shopping swimwear this time of year, specifically from brands like Tory Burch, Shoshanna, Solid & Striped & Onia to name a few — these brands tend to just fit me the best! For some reason, I just hate spending so much money on bathing suits!! Does anyone else feel the same?

I’m also looking to stock up for our honeymoon! We decided on a beach vacation so I’ll be on the hunt for breezy summer dresses, slides and beach cover ups I can easily throw on to go to the beach or wear around town. Have you guys heard of the brand 9Seed? This was a new-to-me brand this season and I love all of their linen tops and dresses that would be ideal for just about any beach getaway.

My Top 10 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks | 2019

With summer in full swing, it’s easy to forget that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is happening right now! Although I’m a little late to post, I thought I would share with you guys my top 10 picks I have on my radar this year!

Similar to years past, I continue to only look for & buy closet staples like a great pair of jeans (I LOVE and have these Good American pair), classic black booties, cozy pajamas and a light fall jacket!

My girlfriends and I always text each other during the Nordstrom sale to see what everyone has in their shopping carts —  each year they continue to swear by these black leggings although I have yet to try! For me I personally want to pick up one of Julia’s dresses from her Gal Meets Glam collection — how pretty is this Liza Print dress?

Last but not least, the most popular item that sold on my blog last year through the sale were these pretty little Kate Spade earrings that are back and only $29 dollars — I repeat $29 dollars!!!! Go get em, ladies.
