With summer in full swing, it’s easy to forget that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is happening right now! Although I’m a little late to post, I thought I would share with you guys my top 10 picks I have on my radar this year!
Similar to years past, I continue to only look for & buy closet staples like a great pair of jeans (I LOVE and have these Good American pair), classic black booties, cozy pajamas and a light fall jacket!
My girlfriends and I always text each other during the Nordstrom sale to see what everyone has in their shopping carts — each year they continue to swear by these black leggings although I have yet to try! For me I personally want to pick up one of Julia’s dresses from her Gal Meets Glam collection — how pretty is this Liza Print dress?
Last but not least, the most popular item that sold on my blog last year through the sale were these pretty little Kate Spade earrings that are back and only $29 dollars — I repeat $29 dollars!!!! Go get em, ladies.

It’s that time of year again!! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here which is always one of my favorite sales to shop!
I’ve scored so many great items during these sales, it’s hard NOT to buy anything. You know what I mean?
The best part about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is that everything is brand-stankin NEW. So the way I like to shop this sale is that I pick pieces and brands that I want to invest in like a Burberry coat or a Kate Spade dress. Honestly, when you can save $300-$400 dollars on a classic Burberry puffer coat, it’s hard to say no. Am I right?
I also use this time to stock up on a few new pair of jeans (Paige or AG), shoes (particularly Sam Edelman, Stuart Weitzman or Rag & Bone), and dresses (like DVF, Kate Spade or Equipment). My thinking is that you want to invest in pieces you know you will wear on the reg.

Unless you have been living under a rock you probably know it’s the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This is seriously one of my favorite sales of the summer as you can preview and shop some major fall pieces before they are marked back up to their regular prices. I know it’s hard to shop fall pieces when we’re experiencing a heat wave in the city but I can’t help but get excited for fall when the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale comes around. I stopped by Nordstrom at the Westchester Mall on Friday evening with my mom and couldn’t resist picking up a few key items. Insert this Baublebar for Nordstrom Anniversary Sale necklace. The girls working the jewelry counter made me keep trying the necklace on for their friends at the different jewelry counters and I kid you not, after I purchased the necklace and continued walking around the store, I got stopped 3 more times – gotta love a good bauble!
Moving on..these Rag & Bone booties are an absolute must. Rag & Bone booties are the perfect fall/winter city boot – comfortable and can take you from the office to dinner with the girls. I also love Danielle Nicole‘s pieces for the Anniversary Sale. It’s hard to say no to this laser cut out handbag for $69.90 or this little clutch for $31 dollars. Last but not least, the sale is one of my favorite times to shop Nordstrom’s Beauty Exclusives.
