Can you believe it’s November?!?! I’m not a big halloween person so I always love when November 1st hits! That means the countdown to Christmas is officially on. With lots of holiday festivities quickly approaching, I’ve been on the hunt for some new wardrobe staples. I didn’t buy much during covid last year so there are a few things I need to re-stock up on this holiday season.
I’m currently loving everything camel for fall – from wool coats to sweaters to boots. I love a good head-to-toe camel look!
Definitely take a peek at Club Monaco and Reiss when it comes to the perfect fall wool coat. Loeffler Randall also has a great selection of camel boots this year.

L’Agence – L’Agence has been my new go-to brand for jeans. They are seriously so comfortable and just flattering – whether you prefer a more relaxed, ripped jean look or a more formal dark denim, this brand is great.
Alex Mill – I haven’t bought anything from Alex Mill yet but their sweaters have been on my radar. Thinking now’s the time to take the plunge.
Mackage – Last year I bought a beautiful long winter coat from Mackage during this sale and it was such a great investment piece, I can’t wait to pull it out again this season.

Unless you have been living under a rock you probably know it’s the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This is seriously one of my favorite sales of the summer as you can preview and shop some major fall pieces before they are marked back up to their regular prices. I know it’s hard to shop fall pieces when we’re experiencing a heat wave in the city but I can’t help but get excited for fall when the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale comes around. I stopped by Nordstrom at the Westchester Mall on Friday evening with my mom and couldn’t resist picking up a few key items. Insert this Baublebar for Nordstrom Anniversary Sale necklace. The girls working the jewelry counter made me keep trying the necklace on for their friends at the different jewelry counters and I kid you not, after I purchased the necklace and continued walking around the store, I got stopped 3 more times – gotta love a good bauble!
Moving on..these Rag & Bone booties are an absolute must. Rag & Bone booties are the perfect fall/winter city boot – comfortable and can take you from the office to dinner with the girls. I also love Danielle Nicole‘s pieces for the Anniversary Sale. It’s hard to say no to this laser cut out handbag for $69.90 or this little clutch for $31 dollars. Last but not least, the sale is one of my favorite times to shop Nordstrom’s Beauty Exclusives.
