Checking in quickly to share a few snaps from my holiday table this year featuring my new Johnston’s of England tartan plaid blanket I picked up at a local boutique, Mackimmie & Co., in Lenox, Mass this past fall.
The owner of the boutique shared with me that Johnston’s actually uses the same mill as Hermes, Burberry and other luxury brands. The quality is outstanding and what I love most is that it’s actually reversible!! So yes, you can use it all winter long after Christmas. 🙂
Hope everyone has a safe, happy & healthy holiday season!!! Bring on 2021!!!
Although Easter will look a little different for millions of families across the country this year, it shouldn’t stop us from setting the table! Today I’m rounding up some classic Easter tabletop decor.
Williams Sonoma, Juliska & Tory Burch all have so many pretty spring tabletop pieces that would compliment any Easter tablescape! And in case you like shopping for a cause, Juliska is offering 25% off with a portion of proceeds going to the Covid-19 Meals on Wheels fund.
A few Easter favorites —
Williams Sonoma’s etched tabletop collection reminds me of late grandmothers everyday glasses – I love the hand etching in the floral motif.
How cute are these little bunny bowls? You could easily incorporate these throughout your kitchen & living room!
You guys, it’s been so much fun decorating our apartment for the holidays!! Even with the minimal amount of time we had this year in-between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I was on a mission to get our place in order before the New Year. Did anyone else feel rushed this year, too?! Not only did we fully decorate (and re-decorate) our Christmas tree, I was able to stop by the flower market to pick up fresh greenery AND fully set our holiday table!! Needless to say, I felt v productive and absolutely loved how everything turned out just in the for Christmas.
So without further ado, today I’m so excited to share our holiday tablescape with Juliska!!
For this season’s holiday table, I knew I wanted to incorporate Juliska’s infamous Country Estate Winter Frolic collection. You most likely have seen the blue-and-white version but the country estate winter frolic collection in RUBY is insanely beautiful. As soon as I unwrapped these pieces, I knew they were instantly going to help me create a beautiful and timeless tablescape. I let the winter frolic dinner plates take center stage being sure not to cover them with napkins & layered them with Julisk’s white washed chargers and gold placemats — which are also just as stunning btw!!
Anytime we need glassware for our table, I always lean toward using their Amalia collection — specifically Juliska’s Amalia Tulip Champagne Flute and the Amalia Highball glasses. Not only do they help dress up the table but you can put them in the dishwasher, too!
For the center of the table we incorporated the Country Estate 13″ centerpiece bowl with two of Juliska’s Berry & Thread Hurricanes. What I love most about this tablescape is that even when we remove the place settings, the centerpiece bowl and hurricanes are just as beautiful displayed on our table. Give me all of that holiday glow!!
Do you have a theme for your holiday table this year?
P.s. if you have yet to try anything from Juliska, I cannot recommend adding a few pieces from their collection to your holiday wish list this year!! I cannot wait to continue to use & add to our collection for years to come. 🙂 You can see my blue and white tablescape from earlier this summer right here.
One of the simplest ways to enhance your holiday table is to mix and match candle sticks, hurricanes and votives. I’ve been collecting these pieces for the past two years and am a firm believer you can never have too many!
Last year my mom bought me this large Arlington Nickel Hurricane from Pottery Barn and silver candle sticks. Although they don’t have the exact candle sticks in stock, Williams-Sonoma currently has a similar version that you can shop right here.
What I love most about collecting these items is that they don’t have to be expensive and they are readily available to shop across a wide variety of retailers. Today I’m sharing a few of my favorites I currently have my eye on! Insert these Serena and Lily Cafford Candle Sticks which would look beautiful on any table or mantel. These antiqued brass candle sticks provide a polished accent and are affordable! This pair of crystal candle sticks are in my shopping cart as we speak — only $20 for two! Last but not least, you could incorporate these wooden candle sticks from McGee and Co. in to tablescapes all year round.
