Serena and Lily’s new fall arrivals are here! From Serena and Lily bedding to furniture to living room decor, I always love taking a peek at their new fall collection.
One piece of furniture that I’ve been keeping my eye on is their Fulton Tufted Bed (in the Surf Stripe fabric!) which you can now shop 15% off at the moment. Josh and I have been wanting to upgrade to a king for months and this one continues to be at the top of my list. And can we please talk about the new Serena and Lily bedding collection?!?! The scalloped quilt & sham set might be my favorite out of all the new arrivals..so many new goodies to shop now or later.
Although Easter will look a little different for millions of families across the country this year, it shouldn’t stop us from setting the table! Today I’m rounding up some classic Easter tabletop decor.
Williams Sonoma, Juliska & Tory Burch all have so many pretty spring tabletop pieces that would compliment any Easter tablescape! And in case you like shopping for a cause, Juliska is offering 25% off with a portion of proceeds going to the Covid-19 Meals on Wheels fund.
A few Easter favorites —
Williams Sonoma’s etched tabletop collection reminds me of late grandmothers everyday glasses – I love the hand etching in the floral motif.
How cute are these little bunny bowls? You could easily incorporate these throughout your kitchen & living room!
If there’s one thing I’m learning from staying at home in our New York City apartment during this pandemic, it’s that I would LOVE to jet off to a beach house!! Since that’s not in the cards for us, I dreamt up a little beach house decor in case you may be decorating your very own beach house.
A few of my favorite rules to follow —
1..A beach house should always incorporate stripes.
My girlfriend Allisonhas this rolling arm couch from Serena and Lilyin her house in California and I absolutely love how fresh it looks in her home! The best thing about incorporating stripes within your decor? The contrast helps hide stains or marks. Luckily Serena and Lily’s surf stripe is a performance fabric so you can have faith that it will last for a long time.
I also am a huge fan of layering stripe rugs all throughout the house — Annie Selkehas the best indoor/outdoor cotton stripe rugs that hold up really well. We have Annie’s Rugby Stripe Denim rugour dinning room!
Whether your house is located on the beach or not, natural fiber rugs are great for high trafficked ares including living rooms, kitchens, entry ways and so forth. In addition to Serena and Lily’s natural fiber rugs,Pottery Barnhas a great selection at more affordable prices.
3. A beach house should always incorporate layers upon layers of white.
From white linen drapes to chairs, lamps& cocktail tables— incorporating white accents throughout every room will help achieve that easy & relaxed beach house atmosphere. Also, it’s ok to use different shades of white — it will help prevent the room from feeling too sterile.
4. Texture — Rattan, Wicker, Bamboo, Woven Shades, etc.
Adding texture such as rattan, wicker or bamboo to your beach house will instantly infuse coastal character. I love how this rattan Cape Coffee Tablelooks against the striped sofa and this Celerie Kemble natural floor lampis just adorable.
5. Natural wood elements
Bringing the outdoors in with natural wood elements will also help achieve that refined yet comfortable beach house decor. How pretty is this Harvest Dinning Tablefrom Williams Sonoma?

Hellooo, friends! And happy sunday. It’s been a minute since I last posted an apartment update for our current Greenwich Village Project. Since getting engaged a few months ago, wedding planning has since taken over so our apartment projects have stalled a bit! However, we’ve been hosting friends over for dinner more recently so I’m on a mission to get a chandelier for above our dinning table a new buffet / sideboard for our living room.
If you take a peek at this blog post, you’ll see we have two large walls on either side of the fireplace. Right now my focus is the right side of the fireplace which currently has my fiance’s old media console which is way too low for the space with two lamps and too many coffee table books to count on top. I would love to find a buffet that fits the space much better and to also help with storage.
SO today I’m sharing two mood boards I created to hopefully help us decide.
The first buffet I found is from Restoration Hardware which matches our dinning table. So if we’re ever looking to sell these pieces, we could essentially sell as a set. The second buffet I found is from Pottery Barn which has a much better price point and I also love the look. Hopefully we’ll also be getting artwork from McGee & Co and I also found these white table lamps from Ballard Designs that we could style on top.
