10 Simple and Stylish Home Office Designs
9

For most of us, our homes are our sanctuary – your home office included.

Whether you work from home all day or just like to have a separate work space, you want your home office to be just as beautiful and organized as the rest of the house. After all, shouldn’t your pad feel like you and provide an extra dose of inspiration?

Obviously the size of your home can effect the design plan of your office space. Whether you can have a whole room dedicated to your office or a cozy corner with a desk, one of my favorite things about Pinterest is that it can show us how sprucing up your digs can be as easy as adding a few gold accent shelves, tossing a white fur throw over a chair or arranging pink peonies next to your computer to instantly add a chic element to your home office.

Unfortunately my New York City apartment barely has a living room so even a desk is not in my future at the moment (#newyorkcityproblems). So today I’ve rounded up 10 Simple and Stylish Home Office Designs that can help us start thinking differently about our home office spaces and for me.. I’ll just have to wait until my next pad. Enjoy! Xo. Lauren

Get The Look: An Easy, Elegant Bedroom
2

I have many a design board on Pinterest. My favorite is easily my Design Eye Candy board. This one has been around the longest, ever since I joined Pinterest back in…2011? Crazy. I also launched Small Spaces, Big Style and a Lovely Kitchen board to start getting more niche with spaces and design ideas I love.

When I pinned the image below, I instantly thought that I could sleep here.

Neutral color palette, a huge tufted headboard (yum), white crisp linens and a cozy throw. This bedroom screams cozy oasis + it’s not too expensive to recreate! Insert this side table from Target for only $100 dollars. I can’t get enough of the Safavieh collection.

I also found a similar faux fur throw on Restoration Hardware – I have been shopping for the perfect faux fur blanket for the past two years and Restoration is the winner (I love the thickness and quality).

You can also find similar linens from Serena & Lily and a very similar headboard from Pottery Barn – search their “Chesterfield” collection. Would you sleep here? Xo. Lauren

Party Remix
1

Hello, party people! With the holiday season (literally) right around the corner, today I bring you some party staples to keep on your radar. Piperlime has a killer selection at the moment. There’s nothing better than investing in a sequin shirt, dress or skirt that can be brought back each and every holiday season. Have a lovely Monday!

This skirt is a must. Plus it’s only $64 dollars.

Or if you prefer something frilly, this one should do too. Reminds me of the Alice + Olivia skirt but at a much better price point.

A simple, classic silk cami.

Baublebar’s crystal statement necklace. I’m also loving their Good As Gold collection – 100% of net proceeds benefit will go to the Lukemia + Lymphoma society.

This. Mara. Hoffman. Dress. That is all.

Pop.Fizz. Clink.

The “wear to everything” dress.

The party clutch of the season (also comes in white).

A statement cuff to compliment any party-wear.

Pretty studs for only $32 dollars.

A sequin tee to pair with black trousers or tucked into a leather skirt (size down in this one).

Pop.Fizz.Clink.Collage

Crystal Bib Necklace // Embellished Dress ($72 dollars!) // Tinley Road Quilted Skirt (on sale + also love this and this) // Pop Fizz Flats (obsessed) // Loren Hope Cuff // Madison Ave Elliana Clutch // Cami // Holiday Skirt //Crystal Sia Studs // Sequin Ivory Tee //

Weekend Notes

weekend notes

Hello pretties, and Happy Sunday! How was everyone’s weekend? I spent Friday and Saturday in CT and came back to the city last night for dinner with friends. This week is going to be a busy one so today is dedicated to brunch and a terrible TV. Here are a few links I loved this week:

I love the custom detailing on this couch.

No bar cart? No problem. Utilize a three tiered table for a similar look.

7 risky design choices to make in your twenties via Domaine.

A fresh look in to a Spanish-style home.

You know we love sweater weather. Here are a few tips on how to keep your sweaters fresh this season.

I snapped this photo on Friday night on a roof deck in Chelsea. Pretty sure I could get used to that view.

An Ikea hack I can get on board with.

A few new food blogs to add to your list.
