Weekend Notes

Happy Sunday, loves! How was everyone’s weekend? I had a few friends in town which meant a bunch of New York Christmas activities. We stopped by the 86th floor of the Empire State Building, lunched at the Boathouse in Central Park (must-do), went to Bryant Park, dined at Spasso, and stopped by Rockefeller Center to see the tree!  If you ever get the chance to visit New York during the holidays, I highly recommend! It’s my most favorite time of year. Here are a few links I loved this week.

Holiday Gift Guide: For the Book Worm

One of my favorite gift ideas to give for just about any occasion is books! I love a good coffee table book whether it’s about interior design (Allegra Hicks), just for fun (Yes, Please!) or motivation (Insert: #Girlboss). I have collected quite a few coffee table books over the past three years but of course, I have so many more that are on my wish list. Today I’ve rounded up a few oldies but goodies and some new one I’m dying to get my hands on but many of these I think would do just the trick for the fashionable book worm on your list this holiday season!

You guys, I’m all about this J.Crew’s oversized turtlenecks this winter season! THIS is the one I’m talking about. I have it in both colors and have seriously been wearing it every weekend. It’s funny because I had Jess over for dinner on Sunday night, and she had it on as well! I’m not kidding when I say it is THE best and most comfortable. #twinsies

Anyways, I also whipped out my J.Crew bright pink bow jacket this past weekend. I picked this coat up over three years ago (I know, the worst) but I am so happy I did as it’s been on repeat every winter since! Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean your outerwear has to be a drab! My other go-to winter essentials include my Frye boots, Coach leather gloves, and this super cute Anne Klein cross-body bag! I love a bag I can take day to night and weekday to weekend so this one does the trick. It’s also big enough to fit just about everything a girl wants to carry around the city: iPhone, iPhone charger, mophie, makeup, flats, etc. I’m very excited to announce that I’ve teamed up with Anne Klein this holiday season to bring you some holiday inspiration!
