What To Pack For Your Holiday Beach Getaway
0

You guys, I’m headed to San Juan, Puerto Rico on TUESDAY.

Have you been?

This is my first beach vacation (sans the weekend getaways in the Hamptons during the summer in THREE years). I’ve heard great things so I’m pretty excited! I’m not sure if you’ve looked into going away during the holidays but ticket prices can be pretty expensive. We were debating on an all inclusive in the DR or Aruba, skiing in Killington, VT, or a weekend in Miami but ultimately we decided on Puerto Rico because of the beautiful beaches. YAY.

It’s been SO refreshing to shop for warm clothes and new swimsuits vs. chunky sweaters and heavy coats. Today I’ve rounded up a few new favorite items I’ll be packing:

I’ll be sure to pack my J.Crew Panama Hat. This was my ultimate summer weekend essential.

I definitely need a bright, pink lipstick for our nights out. I found MAC’s Candy Yum Yum Lipstick so that is for sure coming with.

Oversized sunglasses, duh.

Casual espadrilles.

I picked up two new bathing suits. I love this bright pink one from J.Crew but have you heard of the swimsuit brand, Zinke? I picked up this and this from their line and I’m obsessed.

Last but not least, need some surf spray from Bumble and Bumble.

Are you headed anywhere warm over the next week? I’m taking any and ALL recommendations for San Juan, so feel free to leave them below!! Xo. Lauren

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
2

Merry Christmas, girlfriends!! How was everyone’s day? I just wanted to check in real quick to wish you all a happy and safe holiday. I’m home in Cleveland enjoying way too much food (and vino) but can you blame a girl? And I have to apologize, my posting is a little all over the place during the holidays so bare with me. Today I did want to share the full outfit details from my latest feature with the Everygirl from earlier this month.

When I was shopping for the feature, I wanted a dress that screamed HOLIDAY. I found this little gold frock at Nordstrom – one of my go-to’s for all things holiday – gifts, attire, boots, and more. I paired my red coat from Zara (found here) and my new favorite hat from Splendid LA which I wear everyday (not kidding). Anyways, this dress has been a big hit throughout all of my holiday festivities this month. A lot of people have also been asking about my scarf on Instagram but unfortunately it’s all sold out! Booooo. You can find similar blanket scarves here from Asos and don’t forget to check out my top 10 blanket scarves of the season here. But yes, total bummer, I know.

Have a great rest of your holiday and I will be back here tomorrow!

Merry Merry!!! Xoxo. Lauren

New Years Eve Style
1

With Christmas just 9 days away, that means New Years Eve is right around the corner! If you haven’t already (and don’t worry, there’s still time) but now’s game time to get your New Years Eve style down!

I put together two different outfits I’d love to wear on a night out on the town. Whether you’re going to a fancy dinner party or bar, there are so many great dress options particularly from Revolve Clothing. They have great party dress options at various price points. I found this Harper Maxi Dress (hello, black tie) for only $210 dollars and this sequined dress (perfect for anything, really) for $245 dollars. You can see all of their party dress options here.

Now let’s talk baubles. Loren Hope has some amazing, sparkly designs perfect to get you through NYE and numerous other occasions. Take a peek at her Emerson collection. Then there is my other favorite, Baublebar! Insert these drop earrings. For more bauble inspiration, you can check out my jewelry gift guide here. What are your plans for this New Years Eve? Happy Shopping! Xo. Lauren
