Whenever I’m scouring magazines, interior design blogs, or Pinterest, I love looking at various kitchen and bathroom designs that utilize white marble. I feel like it’s having such a moment that it’s hard to ignore. Marble  conveys prominence, luxury and even has the ability to add light to a specific room. If you look back at any art history book, you’ll notice the ancient Romans used marble throughout every piece of sculpture or floor design.

After discovering some of the photos pictured above, I took it upon myself to research the type of marble my eye is automatically drawn to. I figured out that Bianco Venata, Carrara, and Calacatta are three slabs that I’ll keep on my radar for whenever I purchase that Park Ave apartment or am designing my own bathroom or kitchen counter top. A girl can dream, right?! Although this reality isn’t happening for a couple of years, there are other ways we can all incorporate the white luxe marble into our everyday. Insert this marble tiered stand, cheese board or tray. Retailers like Williams-S0noma and Crate and Barrel both have a wide variety of white marble home accessories to choose from (all at great price points). So.. what do you think?
