Happy 2016!! I’m finally back in New York after 10 days spent back in Cleveland with my family. It feels great to be recharged, refreshed and ready for a New Year!
2015 was full of travel: Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, London, Paris (x2), the Hamptons, Florida and more. These next few weeks a few girlfriends and I are on a mission to get a few trips booked so I thought it’d be fun to round up 6 places I want to visit in 2016. More importantly, I would love to hear what some of your favorite trips have been thus far! Taking any and all recommendations. Â đŸ™‚
One. West Palm Beach, The Breakers Hotel
The Breakers Hotel has been on my bucket list for quite some time. Have you been?
Two. St. Barths, Hotel Le Sereno
Three. Amalfi Coast, Le Sirenuse Hotel
The Amalfi Coast has been one of my favorite destinations to-date. I haven’t returned since college so it is on my bucket list for 2016! I came across the Le Sirenuse Hotel on Conde Nast Traveler as it’s rated one of the top boutique hotels in southern Italy. Talk about wanderlust!
Four. Paris, Haven in Paris
After visiting Paris twice last year, I’m making it my mission to visit at least once a year from here on out. Can you blame a girl? We used a luxury rental apartment service called Haven in Paris last year where we stayed in the most charming apartment in the Saint Germain neighborhood. We’ll most certainly look to use Haven in Paris for our next trip.
Five. Nantucket, White Elephant Hotel
I’m headed to Nantucket this summer with my family. We’re debating on staying at the White Elephant. How cuteeeeee?!
Six. Barcelona, Margot House
Barcelona will be one of my bigger trips this year with a few girlfriends from college. After researching some of the best boutique hotels to stay, I came across the Margot House which is situated on Barcelona’s most illustrious avenue, Passeig de Gracia. Sign me up.
Where are you jet setting off to in 2016?!

My first stop is Salt Lake City! It’s a little something out of the ordinary for me, but that’s one of my goals for the year….to change things up. I’ve also got a trip to Chicago in the works. I hope your 2016 is off to a great start!
Ahhh I have never been to Salt Lake! You will have to let me know how it is. I also have a trip in the works to Chicago! One of my favorite cities.
I’m in!!! All of it.
YAS!!!
OMG commenting on this one TOO! Love these destinations. We are going to be in Ravello in May — check out Palazzo Avino, We are staying for a few nights, I think it would be up your alley đŸ™‚ Planning on doing drinks or dinner at Le Sirenuse during a day trip to Positano. I’ve followed along with your Insta but so glad I came to your site! xx
You have to do drinks at Le Sirenuse, and then Instagram so I can follow along!!! đŸ™‚
I’ve stayed at the Breakers and at Le Sirenuse! Both are great. I second the Ravello recommendation, it is my FAVORITE spot on the Amalfi Coast. I would split the time between Sirenuse and Belmond Hotel Caruso or Palazzo Avino in Ravello and do a day trip to Capri to do some shopping and swim in the grottos. The Breakers on PBI is fun for maybe 1-2 nights so you can use the facilities (you can’t use the pool unless you’re a guest), but the rooms are really just ok and anyone can go to the restaurants and lounge. Also you can’t walk anywhere from the Breakers, it’s on a busy road and kind of isolated. I like the Colony, it’s right off of Worth Ave, right by the beach and it has a really cool old school PB vibe (and is about 1/3 the price). My family lives on PBI, so I haven’t stayed at many hotels there when I visit, but we got married in PB in 2014 and the week of our wedding I split the time between the Breakers and Colony and preferred the latter (and they have since updated the rooms to make it nicer).
