Hi chicas! Happy Monday. How was everyone’s weekend? And p.s. can you believe it’s OFFICIALLY May? Summer is only weeks away so I know life is about to speed up quite a bit with work, travel, events and so forth. It’s been quite some time since I last created a mood board so I thought it’d be fun to kick off May with a little inspiration board. You know… on Monday’s my mood is usually this but today I have a bit more pep in my step given that it’s a fresh month and summer is officially so so close. Do you have any set Memorial Day plans yet?
Anyhow, I really want to get back in to curating a mood board each month. I feel like it’s a great way to help me stay inspired and roundup a few images that can help me (mentally) gather my thoughts for upcoming projects/blog posts. This month’s mood board is full of inspiring outdoor entertaining ideas, pretty flowers, stripes, and french blue (my current color jam). To give you guys a little more background (and I can’t wait to share more details soon) but I’m currently in the midst of planning two upcoming parties – one in May and one at the end of July. As a result, I’ve been searching high and low for creative and chic entertaining ideas.
SO. I need your guys’ help – what are some of your favorite websites or who are some of your favorite bloggers you follow for entertaining / table scape ideas? I already have a sense of direction that I’d like each party to go but it never hurts to stumble on more creative ideas! For example, I have been devouring Eye Swoon‘s previous parties, Style Me Pretty’s Pinterest Boards, and Camille Style’s tables capes. Hope you guys have a great week!! Xo. Lauren
