It’s officially starting to feel like winter here in New York! I always enjoy shopping for fall and giving my wardrobe a little fall refresh. Earlier this month I rounded up my fall shoe wish list & 12 bucket bags for fall. Today I’m all about fur and faux fur coats! One of my girlfriend’s wore this Blank Denim Black Noise Coat to the wedding we attended at Ocean House this past weekend and I literally ordered it on the spot! I also bought this quilted fur coat and this faux fur BB Dakota coat — they are all pretty similar so I’ll report back on how I like each & which I’ll return! Any who, I rounded up some of my other favorite picks of the season. Have you noticed navy fur is on trend? In to!!!!
If there is one female business leader I’ve been inspired by over the last few years it is the one and only Aerin Lauder. Grand-daughter of Estee Lauder, Aerin has built a global luxury lifestyle brand based on the premise of living life beautifully. Even though the brand has only been around for 4 years, I’ve loved everything she has created to-date from her fragrance line to her collection for Williams-Sonoma to her new retail store in Southampton.
And most recently, you may have noticed that I’ve been completely inspired by the Aerin lighting collection. If you follow me on Instagram, I posed an updated image of our bedroom which incorporates a few new pieces from One Kings Lane including the Aerin Jacqueline Flush Mount, Antiqued Brass/White and the Rae 8-Drawer Dresser. Our bedroom is coming along slowly but surely but the Aerin flush mount completely transformed the room! I know I’ve blogged about over the years how lighting can make a huge impact in any room in the home but I was reminded of this simple fact as soon as we installed our new bedroom light fixture. Now I’m on a serious mission on collecting a few more pieces for our apartment. Specifically I have my eye on this Aerin Cristol Large Triple Flush Mount, Brass/White for our hallway. The Arabelle Flush Mount, Burnished Silver Leaf and the Aerin Dover Floor Lamp, Gild for our living room. And last but not least, the Aerin Culloden Table Lamp, Bone Craquelure for our nightstands in the bedroom.

Happy Friday, friends! There is so much fall content currently in my instagram feed and I LOVE it. From all of the pumpkins to mums to festive fall porches, it makes me want to decorate a porch as soon as possible. Who’s with me?
This weekend we’re off to Westerly, Rhode Island. I’ve never spent a fall weekend in Rhode Island and Westerly is one of my all-time favorite destinations on the East Coast! I’m crossing my fingers we discover porches like THIS in the various neighborhoods.
