Get The Look | A Preppy & Colorful Entryway
1

Last week I created a Follow Friday series on my Instagram stories where I highlighted five accounts that I currently find inspiring! Isn’t it fun to discover new accounts to spice up your feed? Don’t worry, if you missed it you can catch up & view on my story highlights! Within the roundup, I included a new-to-me account called Maine House Interiors founded by Australian interior designer Amy Spargo.

It’s no surprise that I’m a huge fan of how Amy incorporates blue and white throughout many of the spaces she designs. I particularly loved this preppy and colorful entry way vignette photographed above! Doesn’t it look like a space that belongs in a Palm Beach house or hotel?!

My favorite element in the design has to be the pair of custom ottomans featuring a Tigger Hall fabric. If you love adding custom elements to your home, I highly recommend taking a peek at Etsy shop Liven Up Design! They can easily re-create these ottomans for you either using fabric they have in-house or with a fabric you ship directly to them!

I re-created the look below with a more muted palette but still using blue and white as the main color combination. I found a similar wallpaper as the one photographed above on Wayfair called “Floral Teahouse” wallpaper but I personally loved this blue and white botanical wallpaper a little more (also from Wayfair!). This classic white mirror would pair nicely with just about any entryway table or console. And I love how this table lamp easily compliments the wallpaper. Plus, it’s only $113 dollars!

Last but not least, if you’re in the market for natural fiber rugs, be sure to take a look at Pottery Barn’s selection! They have a wide variety to choose from + many are on sale at the moment. The rug I included in the roundup is the Clayton Natural Fiber Rug.

Opalhouse for Target
0

Opalhouse-Target-Home-Brand-Boho-Home-Decor

I might be late to the game on this but I recently discovered Opalhouse, a new boho-inspired line introduced earlier this year at Target. And it’s v. cute!

What I love most about the line is their wide variety of wicker baskets & trays at great price points. Insert this water hyacinth basket for $14.99! Or this natural fringe basket for just $30 dollars – yes, please! Also love the tray version which you could easily style on any coffee table or dresser.

I’m always on the lookout for large wicker baskets to hold blankets & pillows around our apartment. Of course I love the ones at Pottery Barn but I’m not interested in spending $200 on them at the moment so Opalhouse seems like a great solution! I rounded up a few of my favorite pieces from the line below.

Have you shopped Opalhouse this year?

What To Wear New Years Eve
0

GF6A6214

I seriously cannot believe New Years Eve is right around the corner! If you haven’t started shopping for your NYE outfit yet, don’t worry, you still have time! Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite holiday dresses from Shopbop. What I love most about shopping at Shopbop this time of year is how easy & simple they make shipping and returns.

They have so many great sparkly options for this holiday season. Insert Alice & Olivia — they have one of my favorites I’ve seen so far! Isn’t she pretty?!

For more affordable NYE dresses, take a peek at both Likely‘s & Wayf‘s selection. AND don’t miss out on Shopbop’s sale section of dresses! They constantly add new dresses to the sale section every single day. All of these dresses would pair perfectly with classic pumps or fancy black booties.  I would also layer on a faux fur coat or leather jacket with any of these numbers.

Pssst… In case you haven’t heard – Shopbop has their own dedicated boutique on Amazon that you can shop on now as well! Talk about keeping things easy & simple. <3

Happy holidays, friends!! Xo. Lauren
