There’s nothing I love more than a good deal. Whenever I’m back home in Cleveland I love stopping at Target to see their latest merchandise. I always kick myself for going because (of course) there are numerous pieces I want to bring back with me to New York that simply won’t fit in my suitcase.
The Everygirl
I don’t always browse their website but when I do, I’m always inspired – especially by their affordable prices. So today I’m rounding up 6 end tables from Target all under $100 dollars. Woop de woop! You can shop each product below by clicking the link under each table!
Summer is officially upon us even though it feels like 50 degrees today here in New York! If there is one home product that is able to evoke that ever lasting summer feeling it’s rattan pendants. I love oversized lighting like rattan/wicker pendants as they are a sure way to make a statement. Hang a pair over an island top, string one over a breakfast nook, or hang two to three in a office environment to create an easy yet comfortable aesthetic. I love the natural textures of the woven materials against a white backdrop.
Living in style can be quite easy when you get Jenny Wolf involved. The interior designer shared one of her latest projects with Lonny.com which is how I came across this seaside abode located in Long Beach Island. I mean, when can I move in?
The striped ceilings in the home’s media room combined with the custom u-shaped couch makes beach side living and a laid-back lifestyle a definite goal. Am I right?
I love how Jenny mixed bright and colorful patterns and materials to fit within this family’s easy-going lifestyle. The master suite and the guest bedroom have to be my favorite rooms within the home (the Peter Dunham leaf-print fabrics in the guest room for.the.win). You know I love a good Ikea hack so today I’m sharing my top 7 favorite Ikea hacks us girls can do! Who run the world? Girls.
Both dressers in my bedroom I hacked right when I moved to New York. I turned the three drawer Rast dresser (which you can pick up for $34.99 dollars) into a Dorothy Draper dresser utilizing Overlays. I also picked up Ikea’s Tarva dresser ($149 dollars), painted it white and changed out the hardware (as seen here).
I love Ikea hacks because one. they are cheap and two. it’s amazing what a little paint and new hardware can do!
When I came across this Ikea hack I instantly thought this hack was perfect for studio apartments! The Bekvam Kitchen Cart is only $59.99 and I love how the DIY below incorporated a white marble top and a vintage brass towel holder.
As you know, coffee tables can be quite pricey. The Ikea Nesting Table is another great addition for a small space as it’s only $59,99. You can turn this little living room gem into a luxe piece with just a little bit of spray paint. Try Rust-Oleum’s Metallic Spray Paint.
One of my all time favorite Ikea pieces – the Tarva dresser! I love this dresser as it truly can be so versatile – use it in your bedroom, living or hallway. Pick a paint color and switch up the hardware! It truly couldn’t be easier to hack.
It’s pretty difficult to come across authentic built-ins in New York City. I love how the Makerista built her own using the Billy Bookshelf series! If I had the space, this hack would be next on my list.
Unfortunately I don’t think Ikea sells this piece anymore but you can find similar pieces of furniture like this floating display shelf for $199 dollars. Cabinets that float in room instantly make the room feel larger – exactly what you need for a small space.
Hacking end tables are another easy and affordable way to make the most of your bedroom furniture. I love how Kristi Murphey incorporated a wood finish on top of the standard black end table.
Last but not least, the Vittsjo shelving unit is a MUST and only $79 dollars. The gold finish is perfection and you can incorporate this piece easily into any room.
