John Robshaw Textiles
2

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen that I was back in Montauk this past weekend with Gab and Sam! We opted to spend the weekend at the infamous Crow’s Nest which is well known for their restaurant and beach front bar. I have to say, Crow’s Nest may easily be my new favorite hotel in the Hamptons.

The property is only made up of about 10 rooms in addition to the main restaurant and beach front landing. I kid you not when I say the designers did not skip out on any details from the restaurant to the rooms.

As soon as we stepped in the door, we all noticed right away the bold prints and fabrics used throughout the entire room. Insert John Robshaw. I have to admit, I was not aware of the textile designer nor his wide breadth of products before this weekend. From bedding to bath robes to bath towels, it’s safe to say I’m officially converted!!!

Sleeping in these sheets felt like heaven (we slept until 11am on Sunday!). And of course I was obsessed with the pattern mixing of the pillows on the bed and day bed (not pictured) in the room.

So as I search for my new favorite bedding from the textile designer, I wanted to round up a few of my favorite inspirational designs utilizing John’s prints as well as products you can shop at Neiman Marcus or Bloomingdale’s.

Growing up on the beach at my parents lake house made me appreciate the serious luxury of living on the water. #goals And if there’s one trend I’m loving right now it’s beach photography and prints.

What I love most about beach photography is that it’s the perfect way to inspire wanderlust all year long. Today I’ve rounded up some very cool and inspiring beach photography mostly from One Kings Lane (my go to when searching for a new print). From Gray Malin to Max Wanger, there are so many great options to bring the beach home. Do you have any other favorite artists or photographers for beach photography? Do let me know in the comments below as I’m on a serious hunt. Xo. Lauren

Look I’m Loving: Natural Wood Chairs
3

One look I’ve been loving as of late is all natural dinning chairs. For some reason, they’re able to make any dinning room or office space instantly chic. From Serena and Lily to Lulu and Georgia, there are so many great options to help you achieve that natural look within your home.

I particularly am obsessed with Lulu and Georgia’s Alva Chairs. You can use as an accent chair in a corner of a room or they look quite pretty around a dinning room table.

For a more comfortable, cozy look insert Lulu and Georgia’s Malibu Chair. These chairs would be one of my top picks if I had a breakfast nook.

See below for more inspiration and top picks! Xo. Lauren

Look I’m Loving: The Director’s Chair

If there’s one look I’m loving at the moment, it’s the director’s chair.

I first fell in love with the director’s chair courtesy of Serena and Lily (as seen here, and currently on sale). There’s something about the easy, relaxed feel of the chairs and I love how they can transform an interior or exterior space in an instant.

If you ask me, you can’t go wrong with white, navy and white or a classic salmon color for an ultimate preppy look.

And because we live in New York and everything is f*cking small, the directors chair is the perfect piece to store away in a closet at the end of summer if needed. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite styles of the moment.

You can shop a classic black look via One Kings Lane for $115 dollars.

West Elm has a very cute option with this fun print for only $50 dollars (originally $149) as does Pier 1 (not pictured below) but also in the $50 dollar range.

If you already have the frame for a director’s chair, you can swap out new covers easily via Home Depot for $9.99.

I love the masculine of CB2’s director’s chair look for a more refined look.
