Nailing kid-proof but adult friendly aesthetic can difficult. Designer Emillie Munroe killed it when designing this Northern California family abode. I came across this home tour on Lonny and had to share. Since a lot of my friends are starting to have kids now, we always have this conversation. A home has to be both for you and your kids. Of course every home should be functional and work for everyone, but that doesn’t mean you should lose your sense of style! The family room and the kids room are two of my favorite spaces in this house – love the checkered surf board and palm tree wallpaper! What do you think? Do you have kids? Friends! My apologies for the radio silence around here. December has been more hectic than I originally planned. I was out sick half of the week last week and then traveled back to Cleveland last Friday to throw my mom a SURPRISE 60th birthday party! SO. Here we are December 14th already. Anywho, today I have a REALLY pretty home feature to share with you guys that I originally saw on Lonny. Kemble Interiors created a colorful and stylish family abode that I would certainly move right into. The master bedroom is hands down my favorite room utilizing Farrow & Ball’s cornflower blue wallpaper (adding this to my wallpaper roster) combined with a custom navy blue headboard and monogrammed pillows, I’m pretty much all around obsessed.
