Nailing kid-proof but adult friendly aesthetic can difficult. Designer Emillie Munroe killed it when designing this Northern California family abode. I came across this home tour on Lonny and had to share. Since a lot of my friends are starting to have kids now, we always have this conversation. A home has to be both for you and your kids. Of course every home should be functional and work for everyone, but that doesn’t mean you should lose your sense of style! The family room and the kids room are two of my favorite spaces in this house – love the checkered surf board and palm tree wallpaper! What do you think? Do you have kids? And how do you not lose your sense of style? Happy Leap Day, friends!! Xo. Lauren
