Weekend Notes

IMG_2461

Hello and happy Friday! This week lit-er-a-ly flew by. I’m not complaining though. I’m very excited for this weekend as a group of my friends and I are headed to three different winery’s tomorrow! Will have a full report back on Monday.

So many good links for you this weekend:

First up, J.Crew is offering 30% all styles. Say what? I love this over-sized stripe turtle neck. This regent blazer must be mine. Their shoes are killing it.  AND J.Crew Factory is offering 50% off – I repeat, 50% off women’s and men’s style. So many good sweater options.

Piperlime is offering 20% off with code FALL20.

Take a peak at some of the world’s coolest office spaces. Insert Nasty Gal in Los Angelos and We Work in DC.

Jen looks adorbs in this silky sweatshirt.

I’m taking Crest’s two week white strips challenge. I will have a full update/report back on my progress! You can see the before photo here for comparison.

Shop up to $100 dollars off Club Monaco with ‘FALLSALE’ at checkout. I have my eye on this sweater, these boots ARE amazing (also love this color and the over-the-knee style), and this dress.

Stop by Madewell to shop 30% off all fall styles! Insert this over-sized plaid coat, this plaid shirt, and these ‘patti’ boots.

And in case you missed it on L-N.com…..

Coffee Cart Essentials
3

Coffee is always a good idea, yes? Insert this print.

I think like many of you…I am coffee obbbsessed. I have to have at least one cup when I wake up every morning. Not that I even need it, I just love making a pot of coffee and drinking it as I get ready for work. Am I alone, here? I hope not.

And to support my obsession, I’m a firm believer that the coffee cart is the new bar cart. I’m currently in the process of turning my vintage bar cart that I picked up in Ohio for $10 dollars in to my new coffee cart for the kitchen.

If you are in the market, both Target and West Elm have great options. I particularly love this one from Target’s Savafiehs collection + it’s only $199! Other great options from Target here, here and here. I also found this one on West Elm. Although a bit more expensive, I love that it has three different tray tables (so many style options).

$30 Dollar Frills
1

There’s something about little luxuries that make you look (and feel) so much better – mostly about your bank account. Am I right?

I love picking up little gifts for my friends and family for random get togethers, birthdays… the “just because items” that don’t have to break the bank.

Today I’ve rounded up a few items that I’m loving that are all in the $30 dollar range or under – holla! And not to get too ahead of myself, these could be great stocking stuffers for Christmas, too? Yikes. Definitely too soon.

I love, love, love these statement earrings from Baublebar. These travel drawstring bags from J.Crew are too cute – I could seriously use these for all of my weekend trips. Who doesn’t need another pair of cheap sunnies? Thank you, Asos. And since we are all very, very busy..this print just makes sense, doesn’t it?

Anywho, not too much to report here today but I have a new fun coffee talk feature for ya’ll tomorrow! Cheers! Xo. Lauren

Girls’ Got Style

It’s safe to say, it’s officially sweater weather.

When it comes to fall, I love rounding up my favorite street style photos (you can see my favorite looks on my Pinterest “Girls’ Got Style” & “Step Into Fall” Board.

This year I’m all about investing in wardrobe staples that I can wear and style a variety of different ways. With that, I’ve created a strict list I’m trying to stick to – I highly recommend this when shopping for a new season! I find it super helpful to figure out what’s missing from my wardrobe to create a list that will get me through not only this season, but also seasons ahead.

Here’s what’s on my list:

  • Insert these Stuart Weitzman 50/50 boots. I cannot wait to rock these puppies this season! I also love them in the suede.
  • I also need a new leather moto jacket. The one I’ve had has lasted me since college so it’s definitely time to invest in another! Madewell has a few great options.
  • Blazers are my go-to pieces for work and are great for day-to-night. I already have black + navy so this year I will be adding camel aka J.Crew’s Regent Blazer.
  • A white crisp shirt is another fall staple must. I feel like a girl can never have too many of these!
  • I’ve already invested in Burberry Brit’s ‘Colebrooke’ puffer. From Chicago to New York, a Midwest girl knows the importance of a good down coat!

Have you created your own go-to list for fall?

You can shop more of my fall staples below! Have a great Tuesday. Xo. Lauren
