Let’s just say they’re my new favorite jewelry line. I’m obsessed with their “love” necklace and it’s only $29 dollars! They also have several great ring options including this triple-bar gold ring, this chevron double gold ring, and these triple mixed metal rings.

The Design Darling shop has several great gifts for mom including these monogrammed napkins or these georgian dinner napkins. Other stylish gift staples include cosmetic cases (HOW CUTE), candles and perfume.

For The Love Of Palm Trees
5

There are certain things I love in life including palm trees, pineapple’s, and flamingo’s to name a few.

This warm weather in New York has me dreaming of the beach, sunshine and the infamous palm tree’s of West Palm Beach Florida. I love the fact that Palm Tree’s are a “thing” this spring and summer from fashion like these cute motif earrings or this palm tree tank to home decor like this Trina Turk Pillow or these Palm Tree napkins (obsessed).

Today I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite Palm Tree inspired products to brighten up both your wardrobe and home. Enjoy! Xo. Lauren

My Favorite Decorating Tips From Pinterest
1

Pinterest is my go-to whenever I am in need of some inspiration. Whether it’s for interiors, party planning or personal style, there are so many great tips and tricks you can find on Pinterest. Today I’m sharing fire of my favorite decorating tips from Pinterest.

1. Make An Entrance

The entry way is one of my favorite spaces within a home. In my opinion, it’s one of the easiest ways to make a statement and set the tone of your home. I love this colorful photograph as the main focal point in this entry way. The white paneling mixed with the wood frame and bench. Incorporate shoes, hats and coffee table books for a lived-in feel.

2. Up Your Kitchen Style

We all know everyone congregates in the kitchen. Up your kitchen style by mixing the style of chairs or incorporate a bench. I also love layering on a sheepskin blanket on some of the chairs for extra texture within the space.

3. Embrace Greenery

Last year I wrote about how to take care of a Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree but I’m seriously obsessed with them. Incorporating greenery (especially in small spaces) is one of my favorite ways to bring a room alive – literally.

4. Create A Bathroom Retreat

I love perusing different bathrooms on Pinterest. I came across this image below via Domaine Home and noticed how simple it is to create a bathroom retreat. Take a cue from luxury hotels and hang white robes on the wall for a plush vibe. Stack neatly rolled towels within a basket for storage. Incorporate candles to set the mood.

5. Organizing Can Be Pretty

When decorating small spaces, storage is so key. One thing I’ve learned from Pinterest, is that clutter is not pretty. What is pretty is nicely organized shelves and storage units. Floating cabinets are one of my favorite storage tricks in any space. They elevate a room and what’s even better is that you can store so much crap inside of them. Bye clutter!!!

Weekend Notes
7

Woop! We made it through the week, ya’ll. This one was a busy one for me. I had something literally every single night – I hate it when that happens! Tonight will be dedicated to all of the R&R with a side of Bruce Jenner. Anyone else going to be watching the Diane Sawyer interview?!

  • Desk side confidential via Domino Mag with Emily Schuman – some serious office inspiration right here.
  • THIS eyebrow wax is everything. I picked it up on Tuesday night and have been applying it everyday – game.changer.
  • Loved Carly’s advice to college seniors. It seems like yesterday I just graduated!
  • I’m speaking at the Lovely Happenings conference next weekend (May 2nd, 2015) which is a lifestyle conference where we’ll discuss interiors (my fav), fashion, food, DIY and more. You can find out more information and buy tickets right here.
