It’s that time of year again! My annual roundup of the top blanket scarves of the season is back!!!! This is my third year doing this post and it’s always one of the most popular / most read post all year. Why….you ask? Well, I personally love blanket scarves and they are arguably one of the best accessories for fall. Not only are they stylish, they keep you warm and cozy on those chilly fall days. For my friends who know me well, they know I don’t leave my apartment without an extra layer which naturally means scarves are one of my favorite layering pieces. This year I’ve included some tried and true favorites as well as some new additions. Asos, Zara and Madewell are always my first go-to’s when looking for the perfect blanket scarf.
One. Oversized light-weight scarf in gray boarder plaid: $26 dollars. As I mentioned above, each year Asos comes out with a wide variety of blanket scarves making this retailer my first go-to when on the hunt for a new scarf. This gray boarder plaid scarf is super cute in addition to this Jack Wills in the classic green and navy plaid.
Two. Asos – Oversized-square scarf in 70’s woven check: $30 dollars. Ahhh the colorful 70’s woven check, love! These oversized scarves look particularly stylish over a leather jacket, sweater, or trench coat. Plus, you can’t beat the price point.
Three. Asos – Lightweight Oversized Scarf in Red Plaid:$26 dollars. The buffalo check is the perfect print for the holidays.
Four. Asos – Lightweight Scarf in Textured Pinstripe: $26 dollars. Due to the light weight of this material + the navy and pink stitch pattern, this scarf could really be a year-around accessory in my book.
Five. Madewell – Cardinal Plaid Scarf: $59.50. I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed in this year’s selection of scarves from Madewell. However, this cardinal plaid scarf would be great for the holidays so I’ve added it to my list.
Six. Asos – Multi-stripe Scarf: $33 dollars (on sale!). This multi-stripe scarf is a tried and true favorite! I picked it up two years ago and still have it in rotation. Highly recommend!
Seven. Grace and Lace – Colorblock Scarf: $34 dollars. If this scarf doesn’t scream apple picking, I don’t know what will.
Eight. Zara – Soft Check Scarf: $35.90. Zara hash so many goodies when it comes to blanket scarves. Insert this striped scarf, this holiday plaid scarf, and this check scarf. So good, am I right?
Nine. Bloomingdales – Standard from Neo Plaid Scarf: $158 dollars. A bit pricier compared to my Asos options, but I love the hassles!!
Ten. Asos – Oversized Square Scarf in Blown Up Check: $30 dollars. I would pair this grey and white checkered scarf with a black leather jacket and ripped denim.

Love this!! I have one of the classic ones from Asos and would love to add another to my collection. My big question is how do you wash them?? I know mine must need it but I can’t figure out the best way without ruining it!
