Greetings, ladies! Happy Thursday.

We’re almost to Friday. Yipee!!! Although we’re currently experiencing yet ANOTHER snow storm here in New York (spring, where are you?), I do have some good news! Our ever-beloved Madewell is now being sold at Nordstrom.

Living in New York has actually made me miss living close to an actual mall that has some of my favorite retailers like Nordstrom. The stores on 5th Ave can just be overcrowded with tourists that often times I steer clear. So as a result I do a lot of my shopping online. Can you blame a girl? Nordstrom is one of my go-to’s when it comes to online shopping so I’m very excited about this latest partnership with Madewell.

Much like it did in 2012 with Topshop, Nordstrom will stock a curated selection of items made by Madewell – 70 to be exact. From our classic denim favorites (hello, cute denim vest) to a light navy jacket for spring showers, Nordstrom’s selection is sure not to dissapoint.

I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to summer but I know fall is right around the corner. Although it might be pushing it to start shopping for fall right now, it’s really hard to resist with all the latest arrivals hitting stores! I personally love a good fall bag. How can you not? Leather, leopard, and prints galore. There are so many amazing fall bags out already, I’ve already started my fall bag wishlist. Today I’ve rounded up a few that I have on my radar. Claire Vivier knows how to make a mean handbag. I particularly have my eye on this leopard tote, I LOVE this haircalf clutch, and this satchel screams fall. If there is one thing that reminds me of summer, it’s anything striped – a striped tee, a striped shift dress, a striped sweatshirt – you name it. And the best thing about any striped piece in your wardrobe? It is unlikely that it will go out of style (at least anytime soon!).

Today I’m rounded up what to wear this spring including two outfits that can easily take you from day-to-night or weekday to weekend. I just picked up these Zara pants and I love them paired with Claire Vivier’s flat leopard clutch (I’m also slightly obsessed with the pink striped flat clutch). Splendid is a good go-to for breezy tanks and J.Crew has a great selection of sandals at  the moment.  I love the metallic. Last but not least, I recently picked up new Rag and Bone denim (so comfortable) and will definitely need a white wash. Will you be getting back to stripes this summer? Xo. Lauren

Guilty. I’m obsessed with spring sandals. It’s so easy to pick up a pair here or there. Somehow my shoe closet ends up overflowing and if you live in New York, you know that’s a problem. Today I’ve rounded up some of my favorite brands and styles of the season. From casual espadrilles for weekend wear to cutout heels for a night out on the town, there is so much goodness to choose from. I particularly love everything cutout at the moment like these Sam Edelman lace up heels or these colorful L.A.M.B. heels. Also, vince? Killing it in the shoe department. Need these. Wedges, however, tend to be my favorite style season after season. They are just so comfortable to wear from day-to-night. Who’s with me? These are just pretty or these will do just fine too.
