It’s hard to believe we’ve been in our apartment for 5 months now! Things are slowly but surely coming together piece by piece. It’s been a bit challenging to keep up the momentum after traveling to France over Memorial Day and having our parents in town for the past few weekends but we’re getting back in the swing of things around here!

Today I’m so excited to share a small update that I think makes a big difference — our new entryway light by Lamps Plus! I’m a firm believer that lighting can make a world’s of a difference in a home. Our entry way light makeover is just the first step in us redoing all of the light fixtures our building installed before we move in. As I’ve mentioned on here before, there are of course positives and negatives when it comes to living in rental buildings here in New York. However, updating your light fixtures can be an small change that easily make a major statement in each and every room!

If you’re not familiar with Lamps Plus they are one of my go-to retailers whenever I’m looking for new lighting! From pendants to sconces to floor lamps, Lamps Plus They has an amazing selection of designer and house-brands light fixtures! It was so hard to narrow down my selects – I ultimately opted for their Possini Euro Design Flair 16 3/4 Chrome Ceiling Light which is currently on sale might I add! Other options I considered & loved include this Possini Euro Double Drum and this Wide Satin Brass Ceiling Light!
