It’s officially been two months since we moved in to our new Greenwich Village apartment! I can’t believe it. As you could imagine, the decorating process is taking time but I’m happy to report we’re making progress. Our new couch is in production, we’re close to finalizing the fabric for our custom shades from the Shade Store and lastly, we decided on a dinning room table!

One item I’ve added to our apartment wish list in recent weeks is a traditional indian dhurrie rug to live under our dinning table. I’m sure you guys have seen these in magazines & across on Pinterest but in case you’re not familiar —  indian dhurrie rugs are a flatweave cotton or wool rugs that many times can be reversible. What I love most about these traditional rugs is that you can find them in a wide variety of colors and intricate patterns. I particularly love indian dhurrie rugs that include a “haveli” stripe — insert this one and this one! So pretty, right? I’ve done so much research on where to buy indian dhurrie rugs that I thought I would share with you guys!

My number one recommendation is Madeline Weinrib – she has the best curated selection and truly great pricing. Serena and Lily also has a great selection to chose from but not surprisingly, their options are more expensive and don’t have as many sizing options available. I personally love this one and this one! If you want to get the look but don’t want to spend the money, Overstock and Wayfair have a ton of great rugs (at amazing prices). I loved this fun little pattern and the mix of grey and blue tones on this one!

Have you purchased an Indian Dhurrie Rug for your home? If so, I’d love to hear where you got it from!! Leave a comment below. Xoxo. Lauren
