There’s nothing I love more than a pretty bar cart and rose! Who’s with me? What I love most about bar carts is that they are versatile, come in a variety of metals and materials and lastly, they aren’t bulky which is quite perfect when you live in a rental.
Ever since receiving my coffee table a few weeks ago I have been restyling my living room like crazy. If you remember, I originally had my bar cart next to my dining room table but last week I moved my bar cart next to my couch. I love the way it acts both as an end table and as my bar cart!
Today I’m very excited to share my 4 key tips on how to style a bar cart in partnership with Chloe Wine Collection.
One – Pretty Flowers Are A Must
Whenever I entertain and I’m looking to up the style of my bar cart, I ALWAYS buy fresh flowers. This is seriously rule number one. Even if you don’t do anything else to refresh your bar cart, flowers can instantly do all of the work for you. Light pink roses and baby’s breath are two of my go-tos at my local flower shop.
Two – Mix in Trays, Jars or other items
I always like to use the number three as a rule of thumb. Incorporating at least three different objects will enhance the look of your bar cart. I picked up this silver tray from Pottery Barn (currently on sale!) and it lives on my bar cart. Ginger jars and picture frames almost always have a home on my bar cart as well. Don’t be afraid to mix in vintage with modern elements!
Three – Always Have Rose On Hand
A girl must always and I mean always have rose on hand! All summer long my girlfriends and I have been sipping on Chloe Wine Collection’s rose. It’s light, refreshing and the perfect wine for these hot summer months in the city! One of the best things about having your bar cart act as an end table is that the rose is always a short distance away!
Four – Coffee Table Books Are Your Best Friend
In addition to flowers, adding your favorite coffee table books will also add style to your bar cart! If you have a two layer bar cart like mine, you can add coffee table books to the top or bottom tray – or both! Coffee table books are a great way to add additional height and dimension to your bar cart. A few of my favorites include Classic Style, Surf Shack, The Hamptons: Food, Family and History.
