I have loved Nancy Meyers films for what feels like a lifetime — Something’s Gotta Give, Father of the Bride, The Holiday, It’s Complicated, The Parent Trap — you name it!! I grew up with so many of these films, I can easily watch all of them on repeat.

Most recently, I watched Father of the Bride & Father of the Bride 2 now that we’re in wedding planning mode and it was so fun!! I forgot how much I LOVE both of these films. What I’ve realized over time is that Nancy Meyers does an amazing job creating spaces that feel like home and rooms that you simply want to move right in. It’s like these spaces play their own starring roles in her movies!! The living room in Father of the Bride, the dinning room in Something’s Gotta Give and the little cottage in London from The Holiday are all spaces that are so inviting, cozy & warm. And the exteriors are just as good!

Since watching these films, I’ve been re-inspired and have been devouring similar Father of the Bride houses and big white houses in general on Instagram & Pinterest. Some of my favorite Instagram accounts to follow include the Fox Group, Patrick Ahern Architect, and Landschute Architecture. Today I rounded up a few big, white dreamy homes!

What are some of your favorite Nancy Meyers films? Xo. Lauren
