If there’s one trend I’m loving this winter it’s velvet! Although one fun fact about me, I actually hate the texture of velvet. Growing up I was a competitive gymnast so I lived in velvet leotards for over 12 years. To this day I can’t really touch the soft fabric but I’m really starting to love the way it looks! I actually was looking into investing in navy velvet pillows (I love these!) for my couch because I love the way they look but again, I know I wont use them so that’s out. Anywho, today I’ve rounded up over 13 velvet items you can easily add to your winter wardrobe!

Spring Wardrobe Staples

It’s felt like spring the past two days here in New York and I couldn’t be happier! With warmer weather in sight, it absolutely makes me want to shop, you?

As a result, I have started my shopping list for Europe and it pretty much contains the following: blush pink, periwinkle, florals and white. Lots and lots of white. So today I’ve rounded up a few pieces I will be adding to my suit case. Have you started your spring wardrobe staple list?

Earlier this week I rounded up a few of my favorite bags I have on my radar for fall. Now today I bring you more fall items I’ve added to my wish list. Every girl should have an Equipment blouse in her closet and this color is a must. I bought a similar Rag & Bone hat at their sample sale last year but I may have to add this one to my closet. I saw these Elizabeth & James sunnies on my friend Mary and I think I have to get a pair for myself. Strappy sandals are perfect for a night out on the town.
