Fall Wish List

Earlier this week I rounded up a few of my favorite bags I have on my radar for fall. Now today I bring you more fall items I’ve added to my wish list. Every girl should have an Equipment blouse in her closet and this color is a must. I bought a similar Rag & Bone hat at their sample sale last year but I may have to add this one to my closet. I saw these Elizabeth & James sunnies on my friend Mary and I think I have to get a pair for myself. Strappy sandals are perfect for a night out on the town. You can never have too many simple cotton tees. And last but not least, I looooove these open toe booties from Vince. Have you started shopping for fall yet? Xo. Lauren

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Must-Haves

Unless you have been living under a rock you probably know it’s the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This is seriously one of my favorite sales of the summer as you can preview and shop some major fall pieces before they are marked back up to their regular prices. I know it’s hard to shop fall pieces when we’re experiencing a heat wave in the city but I can’t help but get excited for fall when the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale comes around. I stopped by Nordstrom at the Westchester Mall on Friday evening with my mom and couldn’t resist picking up a few key items. Insert this Baublebar for Nordstrom Anniversary Sale necklace. The girls working the jewelry counter made me keep trying the necklace on for their friends at the different jewelry counters and I kid you not, after I purchased the necklace and continued walking around the store, I got stopped 3 more times – gotta love a good bauble!

Moving on..these Rag & Bone booties are an absolute must. Rag & Bone booties are the perfect fall/winter city boot – comfortable and can take you from the office to dinner with the girls. I also love Danielle Nicole‘s pieces for the Anniversary Sale. It’s hard to say no to this laser cut out handbag for $69.90 or this little clutch for $31 dollars. Last but not least, the sale is one of my favorite times to shop Nordstrom’s Beauty Exclusives. Summer Style | What To Wear For July 4th

Happy Monday, friends! How was everyone’s weekend? The weather couldn’t have been nicer here in New York. I spent most of the weekend shopping and lounging in Central Park with Jess, Hallie and Mackenzie! All in all it was a much needed R&R weekend.

Can you believe July 4th is right around the corner? Today I’ve put together not one, but TWO stylish outfits I’d be more than happy to rock this 4th of July.

When I think of my 4th of July Day style, comfort is a must followed by the obvious must-wear colors of red, white and blue. I found the perfect navy maxi from Old Navy for only $29.99 (+ you can shop 20% off until tomorrow – score!). Maxi’s are great for layering as well. I’m obsessing over this Gap denim vest and this vineyard vines anchor scarf for the ultimate casual-cool look.

The second look is made up of my go-to stripes and white denim (insert Rag & Bone and AG jeans for quality and comfort). Karen Walker makes the best sunglasses and these RL slip on sneakers are a no brainer. What will you be wearing this 4th of July? Xo. Lauren
