Summertime in New York means hot and humid. For days when I don’t feel like making a fuss to get ready, I always love popping on an easy shift dress. I found this Lilly Flamingo dress the other weekend while shopping on Greenwich Ave in Connecticut. I’m obsessed with the whimsical flamingo print and the zipper that goes down the front – you can make it however high or low as you’d like (ohh la la).

I love Lilly Pulitzer shifts for easy summer dressing. I have to admit, I only started wearing Lilly more recently ever since moving to the East Coast. (you know….embracing those east coast summer vibes).

Also you guys, one item I never leave at home either is my jean jacket. I picked up J.Crew’s distressed denim jacket  in the Calyer wash back in May to rotate into the mix for summer. I’m not kidding you when I say I wear it – everrr-yyyy-dayyyy. I hate when buildings are negative 20 inside but it’s 80 degrees outside – so layering is still a must for me during the summer months. In other noteworthy cute purchases: I also recently picked up this J.Crew Gold Foil Clutch. It was love at first sight and it fits perfectly in my new monogrammed tote I picked off of Etsy. Happy Wednesday! Xx. Lauren
