In other #ProjectUpperEastSide news, I’m so excited to finally share my custom chair reveal I had made in partnership with DecoratorsBest, Ralph Lauren and Society Social!
When first designing my living room inspiration board, I knew I wanted to find the perfect accent chair since my couch can only seat 2-3 people comfortably. I searched high and low for a blue and white striped club chair. Since I didn’t find anything I absolutely loved, I turned to my friends over at Decorators Best and Society Social to help me achieve the exact look I was going for.
In case you’re not familiar with DecoratorsBest, they have the most extensive selection of designer fabric and wallpaper. From Ralph Lauren to Schumacher to John Robshaw, you can seriously peruse DecoratorsBest website for hours looking at pretty swatches!
Because I wanted a blue and white striped chair, I opted for a Ralph Lauren Fabric as they have such a great variety of stripe fabric options to choose from! Whenever making a big (and potentially expensive) design decision like choosing a fabric, I give myself a few weeks to decide. I also ask my friends and family for advice as well. The reason it takes me a while to ultimately decide on a fabric is because I’m going to have this chair for many years to come. I want to make sure that I won’t get sick of the fabric too quickly! That is also one of the main reasons I wanted a stripe club chair, blue and white stripes can ultimately act as a neutral in my book and it’s such a classic interiors look.
I opted for the Little Cape Ticking in Navy. Other fabric options that I loved include the Patio Stripe Blue fabric, the Marina Stripe Breeze fabric, and the Shorebirds Ticking Nautical Blue fabric.
After deciding on the Ralph Lauren fabric, I had DecoratorsBest mail the fabric directly to Society Social where they then produced my Quinn Club Chair!
