We’ve had a rainy week here in New York and it looks like the same weather forecast for the weekend. Although April showers bring May flowers, I’m really over it! Where is the 70 degrees and sunny kind of weather?! Today I’m sharing my April wish list. This roundup includes some of my top must-have items for spring.
TGIF, ladies and gents! Hope everyone has some fun plans lined up for the weekend. I’m hosting some girlfriends tomorrow for brunch, can’t wait! As I mentioned earlier in the week, I’ve officially started making a list of everything I want for spring. I didn’t love what J.Crew had in stock over the winter so I’m very excited that their spring items are so much cuter! I want 500 things. Today I created your ultimate guide to spring at J.Crew. From dresses and jumpsuits to shorts and shoes, there are so many goodies to shop over the next few weeks.
A few of my favorite items include this outfit pictured above. You can shop the blue and white off-the-shoulder top here and the ruffled skirt here! I originally thought the skirt was from J.Crew’s collection line but guess what – it’s only $98 dollars plus you can get it 25% off this weekend! I never wear yellow but this dress is just too cute to pass up (only $88!). This wide leg pink jump suit would be perfect for a bridal shower. This searsucker jumpsuit is perfect for weekends at the beach. Last but not least these pink tie-waist shorts are to die for!! They come in denim and a floral pattern plus they are only $70 dollars.
What are some of your pieces at J.Crew right now? Xo. Lauren
You guys! This home tour is everything. I came across this traditional home on Style At Home this week and had to share. The vibrant patterns mixed with the bright color palette makes me want to move to St. Louis and live right here. Am I right?!
Designer by Amie Corley did an amazing job on this five-bedroom abode. Amie kept the home’s architectural bones neutral but gave the walls and trim throughout the main level different finishes. The kitchen is probably my favorite room of all. I love how she mixed materials – using natural wood on top of the island with a white marble throughout the rest of the kitchen. The gold brass pendants above the island provide a focal point above the room while the the navy and white stools and rug give the room texture.
“You can’t go wrong with blue and white. The timeless yet fresh combo simply goes with every colour. To me, it’s a cheerful new neutral.”
Amen, sista! Read on for the full home tour. Xo. Lauren
I’ve seriously been on the hunt for spring dresses as of late. With how many weddings and events I have coming up, I want to make sure I’m not repeating too many of the same dresses over and over again! With that, I also want to make sure I’m not spending a ton on these events either. So today I’ve rounded up spring dresses that you can shop all under $200 dollars. Many of these could be worn to bridal showers, rehersal dinners or at a wedding! One of my favorite dresses that I have found so far is this pink number. I love the lace, color and the price point (only $119 dollars!). I’m debating if I pick this up in navy though and wear it as a bridesmaid dress for one of my girlfriend’s weddings in Vail this summer. If you have a more formal spring wedding to attend this summer, this Lulu’s dress would be perfect. Although I wouldn’t wear this to a wedding, this dress would be perfect for a summer event or dinner party. I love the print and the off the shoulder cut of the dress. Last but not least, I think I’m going to pick up this midi lace dress for a few rehersal dinners I have to attend this summer!
