There’s nothing I love more than a pretty bar cart and rose! Who’s with me? What I love most about bar carts is that they are versatile, come in a variety of metals and materials and lastly, they aren’t bulky which is quite perfect when you live in a rental.
Ever since receiving my coffee table a few weeks ago I have been restyling my living room like crazy. If you remember, I originally had my bar cart next to my dining room table but last week I moved my bar cart next to my couch. I love the way it acts both as an end table and as my bar cart!
Today I’m very excited to share my 4 key tips on how to style a bar cart in partnership with Chloe Wine Collection.
Can you believe it’s August already? Summer is flying by! There has been so much to celebrate this summer. Between my 30th birthday a few weeks ago to my bestfriend’s weddings and engagement parties, this summer has been one big party!
Because I have been entertaining at home so much this summer, I was super excited when I heard Papyrus, one of my favorite stationary brands also sold party supplies! It’s perfect timing as I invited a few city friends over to my apartment for a late birthday celebration once I returned from Cleveland.
Not only did I pick up cupcakes, champagne and pretty pink flowers, I also picked up Papyrus’ “Let’s Celebrate Something” party goods! How cute are these napkins? In case you’re not familiar, Papyrus has a whole range of party goods. From cute striped straws and cupcake toppers to birthday banners and party fans, I personally wasn’t even aware of how much cute supplies they have in stock! And let’s face it, the paper goods make party clean up so much easier. With Papyrus, you don’t have to sacrifice the cuteness! Phew!
Are you looking to throw a beautiful party this summer? Look no further than Papyrus’ party collections. From bridal showers to birthdays and more, Papyrus can be your one stop shop for all of your upcoming party needs.

Ever since moving to the Upper East Side, I’ve been obsessed with entertaining at home. One of my favorite weekend activities is brunch, so naturally, inviting friends over for brunch is always so fun especially now that I have the space!
Whenever I entertain at home, I always make sure to have Chloe Prosecco on hand.Whether you prefer prosecco on it’s own or you like to create a special recipe, prosecco is a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Plus Chloe Prosecco pairs well with both savory and sweet dishes.
As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I’m a huge fan of Chloe Wine Collection and their prosecco is just as delicious as their rose! If you live on the Upper East Side, you can find the Chloe Prosecco at Yorkshire Wines and Spirits, the Wine Emporium or Up Thai! The wine is bursting with fine bubbles and notes of peaches, apples and flowers. Making it perfect addition for your brunch cocktails! Not only is it rich but it’s balanced with a crisp finish.

Ever since moving into my one bedroom apartment on the Upper East Side, I have been entertaining constantly! I love having my girlfriends over for wine and treats. This past weekend I teamed up with a Spanish wine region, Rueda, to host a fun wine-filled afternoon. Rueda is known for their refreshing Verdejo white wine and I have to admit, it’s delicious! If you like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio, you will love Verdejo from Rueda. It’s vibrant and complex, yet effortlessly drinkable! In addition to having a few bottles of Oro de Castilla and Shaya Verdejo wine on hand, I also picked up some tea sandwiches, scones and sweet treats from Alice’s Tea Cup, an Upper East Side must-try. It definitely made for a sweet afternoon!
To help freshen up my space, I picked up a few of my favorite blooms to decorate my dining nook and bar cart. In case you didn’t know, cherry blossoms are insanely pretty this time of year. You can typically find cherry blossom branches for around $12 dollars a branch from your local florist! And in true lauren-nelson.com fashion, I also had white hydrangeas on hand to spruce up my bar cart.
With each new season, I like to switch up my dishes and dinnerware. I absolutely loved these pink floral dishes and these pink glasses from Villeroy & Boch. They matched perfectly with the cherry blossoms and looked oh-so-cute under the tea sandwiches.
If you’re planning to entertain at home any time soon, or just want a refreshing glass of white wine, make sure to look for Rueda in your wine store or order it directly from wine.com with the code “RUEDA” for a 10% discount! Cheers!! Xo. Lauren
